Good Morning Forum

I would like some advise in trying to fix the wrong l might have done in my first application for my tourist Visa  when l applied 08 Jan 2018.

Previous first application was as follows :

1. Boss was sponsoring the trip as part of incentive travel

2.Reason for travel was for Tourist

3. Things l had as ties to home country but she never asked for that nor did l present those to the officer where - Lease of agreement , letter from employer and pay slip ,

Studying and had letter from my university stating that l was a part time student with them  and bank statement

4. Police clearance and had a charge of 3 Months or fine of R1000 / The case was 9 Years old

5. I had itinerary ,flight and accommodation confirmation but had not purchased the travel insurance

6. Verdict from Consular was at this particular time you don't qualify for this particular visa you applied for  as you do not have ties to your home country .

 Question she asked me where

( a)where do you work ,

(b) How much do you earn l told her then she asked for payslip then handed it out to her .

(c) Have you ever traveled outside your home country and my answer was yes and she asked for my passport to verify -but it was not international just neighboring country

I intend to make changes on the following : will be applying in  November 2018

1. I will be paying for my trip and have save up to R50K

2. Reason for travel will be tourism and Visiting a friend (bf) who will be hosting me  or should I just mention him a friend what is correct ?

3. Ties - Letter from employer , payslip , lease of agreement but no utility bills as my rent the rest of the stuff is prepared but l can prove all the water and electricity purchase to my apartment and transaction of my rent payments show on my bank statement .

4. I will be graduating early next year for the current study l am doing so will present a dated letter of graduation in 2019

5. Police clearance and will have received  my certificate of expungement

6. I have a family in the village my mom and two of my late's sister kids aged 14 and 5 - My mom is a single mother l take care of them financially but she is the guardian can l use them as ties ?

7. I will traveling to the uk/ Switzerland or  Dubai this September 2018 /for my case study

Your advise will be highly appreciated and if you have more advise on what to add or subtract please advise .

@ canadian- wife is that really a factor ? as a junior  colleague of mine managed to get a visitor visa to visit a family friend and she has a drug charge case and spent 2 years in prison ????  so is the case really an issue or depends on case to case

Hi,

You are unlikely to get a visitor visa.  You were denied because of lack of ties to SA.  Now, you want to declare that you will visit your boyfriend in the US.  That's why you got denied, the US Embassy rightfully suspected this that you were hiding at the first interview.

A recent denial, then a second application with relevant details about a US boyfriend, is not going to help.

This is classic scheme of someone who wants to immigrate to the US to marry and AOS with a US boyfriend, and avoid the K-1.  Try for visitor visas without naming boyfriend.

Sorry, but that's the way it looks.

My previous post was based solely on your first post here.  What you are doing already looks shady.

I just found your previous thread.  The boyfriend is your real reason for coming to the US.  Employer has nothing to do with the reason for your personal non-business desire to visit the US.  Have your boyfriend pay his child support so he can get a passport and visit you to meet the K-1 requirements.

wow l honestly give up , but don't they think if we wanted to get married he can come here and we do so ? and not everyone wants to relocated and not every relationship leads to marriage . And the reason why in the first place l had applied for that was because we had only met one month so was not comfortable to go and be hosted at his place but now that l know him better l felt why not . But clearly that not how thing are perceived

You tried to hide your first application as a business trip when it was to go meet your boyfriend.  This is what the US Embassy suspected, and this is exactly what you were trying to do.  It's obvious to the US Embassy, and those of us on here with years of experience.

What you tried is common and easily detected.  This is why a second application is not going to get you anywhere.  This is just being brutally honest with you because you know why you wanted the visa during the first application.  You are literally throwing away more money with a second application.  Use that money to help your BF pay his child support, get a passport, and come visit you.

And why would one apply for K1 if your relationship is not even at Marriage stage ?

Don't apply for the K1.  He can come and visit you.

You will not get a US visa to visit an online boyfriend.  It's not going to happen.  You've burned that bridge by hiding your true intention with the first attempt.  The US Embassy knows because you are not the first to try this by hiding the fact you intended to use your business sponsored trip to visit your BF without any real business reasons.

What you are trying to do was clearly perceived.  Hide the fact you have a US boyfriend, pretend your 1st visitor visa attempt was for "business."  The US Embassy clearly perceived what was really going on.

Do you have your UK, Swiss Visa.

You will not get a US visa to visit an online boyfriend.  It's not going to happen.  You've burned that bridge by hiding your true intention with the first attempt. / But obviously with a first date l would not have stayed at his place anywhere ,l had other sightseeing interest to visit to broaden my career as l work in the tourism industry and knowing a lot of destinations increases your marketability .

The US Embassy knows because you are not the first to try this by hiding the fact you intended to use your business sponsored trip to visit your BF without any real business reasons./ was not for business travel but tourist visa application and that is an incentive you choose which country you want to try as per budget - it was not a business assignment trip

You say your relationship is not even at the marriage stage, but you wrote this in your previous thread.

"I love this men with all my heart he does too , if we can not get through this our last option will be for him to relocate then we leave here in SA a we both have one child from previous relationship and we so ready to start our live and family together .He is 34 and l am 33"
