Before 90 days S03E02, the American guy dating a Colombian girl lets his ex-fiancee to talk him into sending the fiancee a selfie of himself&the ex.

And then the ex proceeds to GIFT HIM THE RING HE HAD PROPOSED TO HER WITH years ago and tells him he might have use for that ring now  OMG..... I cannot imagine what kind of hell he'll get himself into if he does what the ex suggested :bonk:

"Life is a journey." At this moment, it's taking me to the USA to the woman I love.

Not sure that she's an ex, at least not in her mind.  Here's a quote from last night's show:

"Just because we're not together doesn't mean that we're not a family"  and then something about the new girl is not going to ruin what we have or something like that.  Delusional?

They are no longer together, they have no kids together, but they want to play like they are acouple with a child.  They were never married but he said that when they broke up they fought about assets, property, etc.  WHO DOES THAT????

And he drives a Ferrari, but can't afford a new ring for his Colombian amor?  He may not have enough money for gas.

Property prices! Is that apartment dude in Tonantins for real? $1170 a month for a run-down shack in the middle of the Amazon jungle in a country where the average wage is less than $700 a month (and that includes the cities, I’m guessing in Kreeny’s hometown it’s going to be half that)???

So Laura moved to Qatar and expected to live like she does in the USA? Does no one do any research on the country they are about to move to?

That's EXACTLY what happened.  The house was probably 2k, but when they saw Paul it became 4500.  That used to happen to me when i would go shopping with my wife in Costa Rica.  She had me wait outside so she could be jeans for the normal price.  If i went in with her, the price doubled.

I cant imagine they wouldnt! But I guess also the way the fiance/e are open about their culture is important - I dont think her guy shared a lot with her. And they only spent 9 days together before deciding to get married!

I’ve been researching the US as I’m about to move there, but I dont think one cant know everything in advance. Plus, knowing thongs is different from actually experiencing it on your own skin, IMHO. But of course Laura should have done some decent research and maybe visit Quatar several times spending longer periods of times there, before moving.

I was just going to comment on this.  Both her and the other old lady in India are shocked at this.  What did they think was going to happen.  They are at the most oppressive places on earth for women.  Good luck.  I don't see either of them to last more than a couple of months.

I know it’s crazy that they are shocked. I don’t know much about those countries but I do know the stuff these women are shocked about so I have no sympathy for them!

It’s well known that these countries have a completely different culture especially when it comes to women. Laura can’t be making a stand against it, it’s their way of life.

I also did research on the US even though I have been here many times and it’s pretty much the same culture as the UK but still each country is unique and always things to learn!

Why is that guy Corey such a door mat for the ugly Ecuadorian chick?

She cheated on him with her ex and he "forgave" her.  Now the town people are calling him by the ex boyfriend's name which means that he's still around.

This guy's going home back to mommy and daddy broke and alone, while she will be left with the money and her bar.
