I thought the money was the issue. He couldn’t sponsor her and either mama was not prepared to co-sponsor or Brazil doesn’t accept co-sponsors. Maybe now they are married someone was happier to be a joint sponsor. I can see that being the case for many couples. My husband and I have discussed it and we both feel that if someone within our family was going through the process and didn’t meet the income requirements we would feel more comfortable sponsoring a spouse than a fiancé. Especially a fiancé that the USC needs a translation app to communicate with and that was proposed to by the USC on the first meeting. 

 

I’ve had longer toothaches than some of the relationships on this show.

And even contemplating relinquishing US citizenship, thus losing her entitlement to SSI and meaning that she will not be able to move back here without an immigrant visa, all for a man 30 years younger than her, who catfished her and whom she has never met in person. 

 

She makes Azan’s Nicole look sensible.

I wondered if that was just the financial advisor creating drama.    If not, she is an abject moron!

 

Have we figured out why Jon and Rachel keep quoting $11k or something as "the cost of the visa"?  Wouldn't take much to accrue that in attorney fees, but still mystifying.

Anyone else feel like Andrei has the potential to be violent?  When Libby told him to shut up, there was something weird there!

I don't see him as violent, he just calls the shot in the marriage.

Colts wife Larissa, I  don't see her being violent either, but I think she has been arrested 3 times for domestic battery

That's a good question. Also applies to Nikki (season 3) who said on the show that she worked in a karaoke bar in Cebu, Philippines. How are these people getting approved?

^you assume that people tell the truth and I dare say they didn’t put prostitute as occupation for that matter.  Very hard to prove one way or another.

I didn't catch that part, if she worked in a Karaoke bar or KTV Bar then for sure she was/is a prostitute.

 

I guess they lie on their G325,  The US Embassy in Manila is in Ermita which his the heart of the redlight district, there are a dozen Karaoke bars walking distance from the Embassy.

 

The had something called Moral Turpitude and used to deny and ban girls who admitted to working as prostitutes, I don't know if that is still in effect now of days in Philippines.

This show has become unbearable to watch.... They are making immigrants look like a bunch users and liars and Americans look incredibly stupid...…  I turned it off last night in disgust. This is just my opinion...… 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
