Nicole is like a stubborn child that won't listen to anybody.  Even before receiving the official decision about the denial SHE  (not they) made the decision to go over there, marry him, file for the spousal visa, and live there while it's processing.  The last one in itself could be a whole new spinoff for TLC, "Nicole's Moroccan Adventures."  The heat and lack of McD' s will slim her down a little.  I say she lasts 30 days before coming back.  Oh and that dress, good God was a horror scene that wedding will be, half the people will go blind.  The mother is a total enabler, paying for her wedding dress (although I think they went to a thrift shop or something, I've never heard of a $799 wedding dress), and agreeing to attend the sham wedding.  If she didn't pay for everything, there would be no wedding since Nicole can't afford anything on her own.  The stepfather is more straight up, telling her she's being used by a guy who hasn't worked the entire 2 years (true), the wedding is a stupid idea (true), and that he's getting played (probably true).

Pedro is a scammer.  His family are scammers.  His mother is a "lawyer" that arranges marriages for Dominicans with Americans for the purposes of immigration.  She even has a website, and Chantel didn't know any of it.  What exactly did she learn about him before getting a visa for him, besides his name?  Funny that a lawyer has to keep begging her son to send money.  But I don't think they need the money, they are just "harvesting the American dollar" (a ridiculous, idiotic phrase that her mother keeps repeating).    Chantel is being slowly fleeced and set up for the big finale when he just flat out leaves her after gets his 10 year GC.  He's stashing cash away (by sending to DR).  Her family is completely correct.  Their methods is stupid (telling him that they will "investigate" his family) but I think they can smell his BS.  Chantel is too young and dumb to know what is going on.  Next week's preview shows Pedro telling his "sister" that he bought her a ticket to visit and Chantel fights with him over it.  (How did she get a visa if she's a hooker?- according to Chantel)

Molly/little Pedro... who cares, I just fast forward over their scenes.  I can't stand either of them.

David/Annie... again who cares.  Boring.

Jorge went to marriage counseling just to make Anfisa happy.  I love on their drive home after the FIRST session, he asks her if she has gotten everything off her chest.  LOL  I think that he thought that she needed to vent and it would be one session, but I think he's in for many more sessions.  I don't know if she really wants to work on their marriage or is using therapy for him to stop going so she can say that he doesn't want to make the marriage work.   Some kind of divorce ploy.

Jorge lost a lot of his MJ money once California went fully legal with Cannabis which it was his fault if he didn't think it would pass.  Why didn't he invest into any dispensaries since they are supposedly operating in LA County without a permit with no issues at all is beyond me.

Jorge is an idiot.  From what I have seen on the show he appears to be as dumb as a box of rocks.  He like a man child with no direction in life, Anifisa appears to be the adult in the relationship.

If she told him to jump, he would ask how high...………..

I thought that if it was legalized he would make MORE money.  At least that's what he made it sound like in the beginning.

I feel bad for Nicole. Its not going to end well for her.  It also make the whole immigration process seem negative and with the current immigration climate in the US Im sad that they are not portraying the process in a better light.

Pedro said straight up that he feels he has to be the man of his family and support the mom and sister so I dont know why Chantel and her family are like why are you doing this? He said so- quite clearly. For them to last they need to discuss it openly and set amounts like others here have suggested.

What is up with the lawyer saying she's seen denials but not refusals? Is there actually a difference? I'm lost here.

Marriage/ AOS Timeline:

23 Dec 2015: Legal marriage

23 Jan 2016: Wedding!

23 Jan 2016: "Blizzard of the Century", wedding canceled/rescheduled (thank goodness we were legally married first or we'd have had a big problem!) :sleepy:

24 Jan 2016: Small "civil ceremony" with friends and family who were snowed in with us. December was a bit of a secret and people had traveled internationally and knew we *had* to get married that weekend, and our December legal marriage was nothing but signing a piece of paper at our priest's kitchen table, without any sort of vows etc so this was actually a very special (if not legally significant) day. (L)

16 Apr 2016: Filed for AOS and EAD/AP (We delayed a bit-- no big rush, enjoying the USCIS break)

23 Apr 2016: Wedding! Finally! :luv:

27 Apr 2016: Electronic NOA1 for all 3 :dancing:
29 Apr 2016: NOA1 Hardcopy for all 3
29 Jul 2016: Online service request for late EAD (Day 104)
29 Jul 2016: EAD/AP Approved ~3 hours after online service request
04 Aug 2016: RFE for Green Card (requested medicals/ vaccination record. They already have it). :ranting:
05 Aug 2016: EAD/AP Combo Card arrived! (Day 111)
08 Aug 2016: Congressional constituent request to get guidance on the RFE. Hoping they see they have the form and approve!

K-1 Visa Timeline:

PLEASE NOTE. This timeline was during the period of time when TSC was working on I-129fs and had a huge backlog. The average processing time was 210+ days. This is in no way predictive of your own timeline if you filed during or after April 2015, unless CSC develops a backlog. A backlog is anything above the 5-month goal time listed on USCIS's site

14 Feb 2015: Mailed I-129f to Dallas Lockbox. (L) (Most expensive Valentine's card I've ever sent!)

17 Feb 2015: NOA1 "Received Date"
19 Feb 2015: NOA1 Notice Date
08 Aug 2015: NOA2 email! :luv: (173 days from NOA1)

17 Aug 2015: Sent to NVC

?? Aug 2015: Arrived at NVC

25 Aug 2015: NVC Case # Assigned

31 Aug 2015: Left NVC for Consulate in San Jose

09 Sep 2015: Consulate received :dancing: (32 days from NOA2)

11 Sep 2015: Packet 3 emailed from embassy to me, the petitioner (34 days from NOA2).

18 Sep 2015: Medicals complete

21 Sep 2015: Packet 3 complete, my boss puts a temporary moratorium on all time off due to work emergency :clock:

02 Oct 2015: Work emergency clears up, interview scheduled (soonest available was 5 business days away--Columbus Day was in there)

13 Oct 2015: Interview

13 Oct 2015: VISA APPROVED  (236 days from NOA1)

19 Oct 2015: Visa-in-hand

24 Oct 2015: POE !

15 Dec 2015: Fiance's mother's B-2 visa interview: APPROVED! So happy she will be at the wedding!

The worst thing in Anfisa is one of the most immature, childish people I've ever seen portrayed on TV, if she's the adult in the relationship it raises some major questions.   I realise that a lot of it is probably how the show is cut and edited, but still.

I’m still baffled why Annie and David did a K-1 instead of marrying in Thailand and filing a CR-1 via DCF. That way she could be working immediately. And why he didn’t look for work before coming back is beyond me. I applied for and was interviewed by Skype for my job before I moved here. I already had the job before I went to my interview. If I can land a job like that as an immigrant with no previous work or education history in this country then he, a USC, can manage it.

Im sure Anfisa is going through the motions ready for ROC with a divorce waiver. She will be able to say “look, I even suggested we go to counseling but he wouldn’t cooperate”. She doesn’t love him. When most brides-to-be and newly-wed wives talk about their man it’s usually with dreamy eyes, talk of how he makes her laugh, is loving, kind etc. All she could talk about was how he promised her material things and she didn’t get them. It was a business deal for her from day one.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Maybe why he didn't get married there is he would be responsible to pay for the wedding, which probably would be a lot of people and provide drinks and probably slaughter a couple of cows or other type of domesticated animals there, I suspect it was cheaper to do the K1 for him.

Also the guys I know including myself had no desire to bring a person here on a fiancé or spousal visa and have them go to work, I told my fiancé to wait about one year to adjust and learn the US and our ways and culture.

David doesn't want to work, he wants to be a freeloader.  With the US economy in a economic boom if you can't find a high paying job right now, it only means you don't want to work.

They will take almost any person with a pulse in West Texas to work in the oil fields, and you can easily make $100K per year as a new hire if you want to work

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.

She is the alpha in the relationship. She kicks Jorge out and he stays in the doghouse for a month and comes back and he apologizes, She has him trained well.

She hits him, she berates him, and basically he sits there and takes and comes back for more punishment, He is an idiot with no self esteem.

So he’d rather pawn his jewelry and risk eviction from the fire station than have his wife get a job? Most women work here. I understand she comes from a more traditional culture where women stay at home and raise children but she worked in Thailand. And she lives here now. This is what life is like here. The streets aren’t paved with gold. To afford a comfortable life usually means both partners have to work. I’m well and truly done with his constant whining about having no money when they had the perfect opportunity not to be in this situation.

It is nice if you can afford to have your wife stay home for a year or so. But that’s not really a luxury available to them.

It’s disgusting that he couldn’t even afford medical insurance for his son so that he could have the bullet removed from his face. But he likes to eat out. Seen him eating more restaurant food than home-cooked food. What a deadbeat dad.

I see Pedro's Sister is coming to the USA,  Why didn't he buy her a first class ticket instead of coach, isn't that part of his culture?

Molly and Luis is textbook example of how to marry for a Greencard.  He played her like a fiddle, and when he would come out of a room and go into another room and then blare his music had be laughing.

Finally 90 days is getting fun to watch.

It's almost a cliché.  If you're a foreign guy, find a fat American woman with no self-esteem, wooo her a little, and she'll be petitioning you in no time.  Same with women, find an older, fatter, balder, American man and whisper a few sweet nothings to his ear and you'll be a beneficiary in no time.  Plus, if you find the right bobo, you may even get them to send you money while the visa is processing and you won't have to work for 1-2 years.  Basically, scammers search for undesireables (in the US) and play on it.

Azan can do anything he wants with no consequences.  Mr "we can't kiss in public" seems to be busy with other chicks when she's not there.  An audio recording is posted on the internet (huh????) with him talking to another woman about kissing and sex.  And she confronts him about it and he says his friends dared him to joke when they were drunk.  And she believes it.  So stupid and desperate.

Paola... if my wife needed time to figure out whether to side with me or her friend, she would be my ex-wife.  I don't play that #######.  If a woman's not sure, then she doesn't love you.

Jorge is a flat out liar.  He's so scared to tell her that he went to a lawyer to talk about divorce that he is lying to her face, even though she knows.

Chantel's family is dumb for telling Pedro they want to investigate him and his family.  They should have just done it.

And Chantel... YES, his family comes before you in his life... way BEFORE you.

You see this a lot with women and alot of men in general. Supposedly from what I have read on here from other people is that it is a well known practice there to swoon a British/American older woman, then get here and leave.

I admit we have had a lot going on in my household so I am just now catching up on the episodes. But I can't believe that Luis considers it babysitting to watch that little girl, and as a father if my x-wife was letting some man watch over my daughter that I barely know then that wouldn't be happening.
