My brother brought his wife from Mexico to the U.K. and she has lived in the U.K. for almost 10 years now and she still struggles with the winters. 

Yes, I am worried about this. My fiancée is hoping to come here at the beginning of February. It will be the worst weather of the year in Chicago and she will be leaving 90 degree weather in  Brazil! I told her that she  should wait until May, but she wants to be with me ASAP.  She has never been outside of Brazil. I hate the weather here  in January / February!

Yes to Family Chantel!!  Are they a little crazy?  Yes .. but I love them.   I think when Danyell and MaHAAmit-you-UUUSED-ME brought in huge ratings... TLC has purposely tried to choose odd-ball couples - and seemed to begin scripting a lot of the scenes.  When Chris (David/Annie's sponsor) asked if Annie would give him massages by the pool .. that was a TLC-created scene.   Usuelu's airport dance - was again TLC urging him to "surprise" her (although I liked the scene .. thought it was fun.. and laughed out loud when he refused to put on his shoes).  I wish TLC would stick to filming authentic couples/ real immigration struggles.

Loved Family Chantel!! Even enjoyed Anfisa better then this lot. 

I thought the airport dance was great! It's who he is and his nationality, as Lelani stood there looking all annoyed, I would have been filming it! They are going to lose viewers this season

I feel bad for the Former Marime having to deal with Leida and her family. They are all physicians and she grew up in a house doing whatever she wanted. You can tell she grew up rich because she went to a British school, you can tell it by both her and her sister's accent.

Since everyone seems to hate on Jon...I have a different view. I don't see fighting as a crime. If two people want to fight...let them. Its not like he is fighting people who do not want to fight. As far as we know he has not been charged with assault.  Very different IMO.  Boxing, wrestling, MMA are just legal forms of fighting....and very popular I might add. Both people agree to fight and the best man...or woman wins.  I remember in high school there would always be a couple of fights a week. Talk would get out who was going to fight who and then they would meet down the street and we would gather around and watch. Soon as one person said they quit....or was clearly beaten...that was it. They cleaned up and went back to school.

Actually - we DO know he was arrested and convicted of assault.  He caused bodily harm, was fined, and kicked out of university. It was because of this violent assault the US denied him a visa to visit the US.   Instead of learning from his mistakes - he verbally assaults people online every day.  Clearly he has anger issues and I hope USCIS rejects his application and waiver to come.

Sometimes fights get called assaults. I personally do not hold anything against someone who has been in a few fights...or even a bunch. Assault.....is a different story.  I have no idea what he says online. If he can't handle people online in a rationale manner then he may have an anger issue that is unlikely to be resolved.   So far I like the guy and hope he and Rachel make it. I like her too.

Keida's behavior in the parking lot when he was loading up her bags in the back of the vehicle was ridiculous...load them "in proper" and then whining and freaking our like a 3 yr old because he didn't put them in to her liking. Way to set a great example for your son. She's a spoiled brat. Now on to the other person on this season that I despise Colt. The whole relationship with his mother is extremely co-dependent and weird and It reminds me of Anthony Perkins in the movie Physcho...yes morher... no mother very weird. Dude seriously turn on the a/c in the car. That woman just traveled several hrs and moved to be with you. The least you can do is make sure she is comfortable. He's a d@#$ and what's with the slot machine in the dining room? So weird and random. I have to say that I like Fernanda. I thought that she was going to be another Anfisa but it seems that she is not. I find myself yelling at the TV whenever these two are on.

I was reading the 90dayFiance page on Reddit yesterday and they seriously think that Colt has some kind of emotional issues  due to his supposed lack of empathy and codependency on his mother. Which his mother might have started and formed that in him from a very early age, but it does remind me of that Physcho movie. Also they have a beater car with NO A/C so they can't just turn it on if it's not there. Which I really don't know how they drive in Las Vegas in the summertime with no a/c because it is legit 105-110 EVERY SINGLE DAY. I know it's dry heat which is different but it is still freaking hot to say the least.

Colt is a complete loser.  Look at his life, he lives with "mother" and has cats that he sleeps with and dresses up.  Now, this pretty hot Latina latches on to him for the opportunity to come to the US.  Does anybody actually think that she cares one bit about him?  And they are just awkward together.  She is looking for America that she has seen in movies.  And big city life.  She's looking for the strip, not back roads.  This is a typical case of misaligned expectations.  That seems to be the downfall of all these couples.

 

And she told the cameras her top 3 things:

1. get married

2. apply for greencard

3. get a car with A/C

 

I bet that she is going to pressure him to get married ASAP, nowhere near 90 days.  Like when she got her visa, she wanted him to book a flight for the next day.  And what's with the flowers?  At the airport, loser didn't even bring flowers.  Ok, so she pointed it out, but no need to repeat it at least 3 more times.  And another awkward moment (seem to be many), they pass by a flower vending machine (never seen those before).  She asks him to buy her flowers, and he was like "$20 dollars?  NO WAY!!!"   $20 too rich for his blood.  Oh yea, this will be interesting.  Materialistic latina versus poor gringo.  She seems very desperate to get things done, probably to be able to break away from mama's boy, and find a real man.  The dynamic with her and mother should be fun to watch.

 

Leida seems like she actually likes that guy.  But her sister and family seem to be able to make decisions for her.  A couple of times, I heard that she's coming to America for a better life.  Sorry, but looking at his financial situation, it's pretty doubtful that she'll have anywhere a similar life to what she's used to, much less better.  She's very spoiled and I can see her getting annoyed with having to wash dishes and pick up dirty clothes.  

 

Justin Beiber-wannabe (the kid with the pregnant Russian) is just a typical high school dropout.  Not sure how he plans to support his new family.  Not sure if grandma has the means to bring and support the Russian and her baby.

 

The Samoan couple are pretty boring, except watching him try to adapt to American life should be fun to watch.  He seems like a nice enough guy and says the right things.  But there will be growing pains with him trying to learn how to take care of the baby.  And she's looking for "support" so she'll be trying to get him into a job as soon as she can.  I don't mean to be offensive, but is he a little slow?

 

The blonde with the young Jamaican we have seen before.  Yawn!

 

The Mexican girl seems pretty fiesty and not taking his #######.  Not just there for the visa it seems.  I like her attitude and personality.   Seems pretty genuine while to him she's just arm candy it seems.

I had read online, can't recall the site, that people think Colt is in the high functioning autism spectrum. Now, how these people know this, probably WEbMD. But i do agree, Colt definetly has issues. 

Jon has anger issues, more then just being in fights, he admitted he did bodily harm to someone. As far as i knew, that's assault.
