It's $535 if i am not mistaken to file the I 130. If Rachel lives paycheck to paycheck, and Jon has no job, they will be waiting awhile.

I totally agree with this. The only way it would even cost a lot of money is if they get denied and have to file for a waiver.

So Rachel thinks Jon is not bad because “he’s not a murderer or a thief”. I took great exception to this. As most of you probably know, my husband had a felony conviction which means he is banned from the U.K. (and a whole load of other places) and this is the only reason I immigrated here. Our plan was to live in the U.K. but that was halted by U.K. immigration. My husband was convicted of theft. I’m not proud of it. Neither is he. But I tell you something, I’d rather lose my wallet than my teeth or my eyesight. My husband stole without even being seen (he helped himself to money in the safe at a workplace after hours when people had all gone home). He used a key to get in. No one was hurt directly. Yes, we’ve heard the arguments that maybe someone lost their job because the company couldn’t afford to keep them anymore but that’s hypothetical. John punched 60 people, causing injury to at least one.

He almost exploded during the Tell All and my goodness did Rachel look ashamed and embarrassed. She was squirming in her seat. She couldn’t look him, the presenter or the cameraman in the eye. I’ve never seen anyone look more uncomfortable.

It’s $535 to file the I-130. It’s currently taking around 8 months for it to be approved. So 8 months to save up for the NVC fees which are also around $500. Just over $50 a month is all you’d need to put away. You have a year to pay your fees to the NVC. Granted your case doesn’t move until you pay but you should at least get your foot in the door. I’d go out delivering pizzas after work if that’s what it took to scrape that money together.

London medical is £300 ($400) and then there is the GC fee after approval of $220 which you can even pay after you arrive and he will be eligible to work from day one.

If they can’t find that money, they aren’t that bothered. She says her dad is very supportive - why not ask him for a loan of $500?

Also, considering they were originally planning to do a K-1 which costs even more and means he cannot work for many months, if they think the CR-1 is expensive they obviously did zero research on the K-1.

This^^^^^ Jon is trying to justify his fighting because of where he grew up.  How he is a man, and not all the bleeped out words he said. I have a feeling Rachel doesn't know the "whole" truth of Jon's past with fighting. Agreed, Rachel looked like she was hoping the sofa would swallow her up while Jon was going off.

And if he grew up in Weston-super-Mare then that’s a sleepy little coastal town full of retired people. It’s not the East End of London.

Jon doesn't seem bothered he lost his job. Because he says he has the income from the Lodgers. Which like you said, that's his mom's house, why is Jon entitled to the money? He needs to be out looking for work, kebab shop, or even try and get his old job back.

Since they have taken advantage of the GoFundMe campaign previously, it wouldn't surprise me they attempt to solicit more "funds" so they can be together. Because it's all so unfair!

I don't blame the people putting up these GoFundMe pages since there are so many gullible (reads: dumb) people willing to give to stupid people.  I blame the idiots donating to these "causes".

I'm on a pilot board, and some guy came on and posted that he is starting a page to fund his private pilot training.  Obviously, he got run off the board since it's full of pilots who had to pay big money for their own training with no help and this freeloading millennial wants a freebie.  Seems the new thing is to just ask for handouts.  And you hear that "it's not fair" a lot more now.  I'm 42 but when I was younger, I don't remember people acting this way.  Life was always unfair to people with no money, no education, no future, etc

Yep - someone has just set up a GoFundMe page for them. Raising money for a K-1 visa, which they are not even eligible for as they are married! You couldn’t even make this stuff up.

When they misuse the GoFundMe campaign makes it bad for people with real causes. But like you said, lots of dumb people out there willing to donate.

I've got a few years on you, but things didn't use to be like this when I was younger either.

Rachel:  "He's not a murderer or a thief".    Well in THAT case - let's expedite his case and pay for all the expenses!!   /sarcasm

2 GoFundMe accounts were set-up.  Then closed down.  Rachel says it's not "morally right" (at this time) for them to use GFM.   Instead they're selling Cameo Video's  ($30 for Rachel,  $50 for Jon) to say  HAPPY BIRTHDAY or whatever you desire.  Or you can visit their Instagram account and ask why Baby Lucy never wore socks ... and Jon will curse you for free.  :)

“Not morally right”? 😂 Since when have “60 Fights Jon” and “Pregnant by One Man While Dating Another” Rachel ever been bothered about what’s morally right?

I think that is what we here sometimes forget.... these people are not the brightest to start off with.  I mean, who'd want the drama and airing of dirty laundry on a national TV show? No-one who thinks this trough... so those that are left, those that go on the show, are hand picked for drama and, well, not being very intelligent/ not having studied the process, unlike most of us on this site.

I wonder when TLC will finally announce their CR-1 visa spin off they are clearly planning.
