Ximena:  I like her. I mean, maybe she is a good actress and that makes her likeable, but the "being in NY" thing could also be wishful thinking. 

Stripper girl:  Her Muslim boy clearly has doubts, and so he should. If he believes in his religion, that woman is not for him, and she seems to think it is just a minor blip.  Which kind of shows her Catholic faith isn't as important to her as she professes.

Karin: she will always use Pole's insecurities against him. I like neither of them, but she will keep threatening to break up with him, forever, that is the way she controls him.

Jesse: I liked him longer than most of you guys, but him flying over to break up did seem like an abusive move.  Like he wanted to control even that, and see her suffer.  I do agree she is an alcoholic though, and he is more mature than her.

Rachel:  I don't really understand why she doesn't want to meet the ex.  I have always found it illuminating to  talk to exes, and find out how my boyfriend treated them and how they treat eachother now. Besides- either your love is truly over the ex, in which case, no problem; or they are still in love, in which case, it's better to know.

Right! That drives me crazy. It's what gives the normal couples not on TV such a stigma. People are always telling us "oh like the TV show!" when we tell them our situation, and we're both very adamantly like NOPE NOT AT ALL lol

Well, you don't go inviting your ex girlfriend to your engagement party, first of all. *face palm* But it just further serves to prove those two are not ready to get married. It's hard to miss that they are rushing the marriage just so they can jump on the spousal visa. And I don't know why - he won't get here any faster. There's still a process. And he has the same chances of getting denied based on his criminal background. The only thing I'd give him a break on so far is the social media thing. My husband immediately jumped on that one and said most Europeans use the term "love" when speaking to someone they have a friendship or relationship with, even if it isn't a romantic one. For instance, it's common to say "Hey, love" when addressing a close friend. But who knows. It'd probably tick me off too, if I were her, so I really don't blame her. There could've also been more context to the conversation she saw that would insinuate more.

 

Hazel's first reaction being "what is this?" when he dropped to his knee and proposed is the biggest display of THIS IS A HOT MESS, if nothing else has been. My husband literally leaves the room to do something else whenever those two come on. Lol

 

Is it just me, or did MOTS giving Michael an American flag as a "proposal" and wording it as "it means you're coming to America" just kind of illustrate the fact that she may be entirely aware that coming to America is all he really cares about? That felt odd to me. Anyway, I still cringe when they hug or even look at each other too long.

 

Yup, Darcey's freak out was about as cringe worthy as I was expecting it to be. That whole taxi ride scene made me uncomfortable. I sincerely believe the only reason he went there to break up with her was to cause a scene. Neither one of them could shut up or just leave things be, once it was out on the table that it was over. All of it was so incredibly unnecessary. Also - she's so quick to defend herself and say she doesn't need to explain to her partner, someone she claims she wants to marry, why she was arrested. Um. Yeah. You do. If my husband were ever arrested for something, you're **** right I'm going to be waiting for an explanation. I think there is a lot off camera that we don't even know about, whether it's between the two of them or separate issues she's got going on with herself. They are both immature and volatile, at the end of the day, and there are no winners in that situation.

 

Paul and Karine... ok. They get on my last nerve. But I cried during that last hospital scene. I really don't believe that was dramatized at all for television. The looks on both their faces made my heart hurt. I've been there before and I don't care what kind of toxic situation they may be in, relationship wise - I would never wish that on anybody. For the first time, I actually sincerely felt sympathetic for Paul. He didn't know what was going on for such a long time and I can't imagine how that must've felt. How scary it must've been to be in a situation like that, and you know something is wrong, but you can't understand what anyone is saying. Just that people are crying. Whether their marriage makes it or not, that was his baby, too. Bless their hearts.

Even my wife does not like her at all and she is a Filipina. My wife does not like her at all and finds her to be fake like why are you going to have guy fly half way around the world with you and stay in the hotel room but no sex? Not to mention that she already has a child as well so that was just weird to us. She is also to me just basic looking and needs to stop acting like she is sexy

She has ZERO personality, and that has puzzled us since the first episode. When you meet someone from a distance, particularly online, you'd think both would have to have some kind of personality in order to make a relationship happen from a distance. And she has none.

 

She just wants a green card, and I don't think she's attracted to Tarik at all. And he's totally clueless. And that's puzzling too, because he's good looking and has a decent personality. Maybe he's just stupid lol

Yes, this one is quite obvious. She only wants the green card and has no attraction or feelings for this poor guy. He seems like a nice guy and seems to have a nice job. I hope he wakes up, before he goes through with the marriage.

Darcy's shrieks are almost comical to me. I wonder is she realizes how crazy she appears. If Jesse tells her she must come back "structured" one more time, I am going to lose it. He is so full of himself.  I think he just wants to spin this TV exposure into some type of career in the USA..... He's already had his 15 minutes of fame.....  It ain't gonna happen 🤣

Jesse is a clinical narcissist I believe.  He's bordering on psychopath.  He flew all the way to NY just to witness her squirm and suffering in person I think.  His parents smoked a lot of weed, so he has many personality issues it seems.  Darcy really just seems like a typical drunk, losing her looks is hard on her so she drinks.  But Jesse is really sick. 

 

The proposals were downright embarrassing.  I could not control my laughter seeing how stupid and desperate these people are.  Mouth of the south really believes that the scammer loves her.  I think she really does.  Next week's previews shows MOTS discovering that her bank account has been emptied.  They stole tens of dollars.  Gomer Pyle  (aka Tarik) panicked and proposed so that she wouldn't run off with the made-up rich Japanese suitor that her sister had lined up.  RIIIIGHT!  Because Hazel (aka ET---I see it now, see below) is such a hottie and a catch with her lively personality.  <SMH>  And he must've said 5 times that he needed to be sure that she was in it for the right reasons before he proposed.  I guess that the made up Japanese guy story convinced him.

 

Rickey almost "drowned" by jumping into the lake 2 feet from the dock. What a hero.  That convinced Ximena that he really loves her and not Melissa.  Are these people for real?  

 

I hate to even say it, and my wife got pretty pissed at me last night when I said it since it happened to us recently, but that miscarriage was the best thing that could have happened to them.  They should not be together.  And this baby would just have made the stay together and make everybody miserable.   Now, he has an out.  And so does she.  I hope they take it.

Funny - my wife feels the same way.  I kept asking "What do you think of Hazel?".  She said "fake .. user".   I've been giving Hazel the benefit of the doubt .. young, poor girl in Phils - meets guy after only weeks of chatting online.  It makes sense to me Hazel will be cautious.  Anyway ... after the "Live" episode of Tarik's "brother" (not really his brother .. he's Tarik's cousin .. and music producer).. we learn Hazel is bi-sexual and Tarik loves orgies.

I found it very odd that Hazel shyed away from questions about their relationship when Dean questioned her about the ex, but yet felt comfortable to talk about getting it on with women.  Something smells fishy.

That Live episode was pretty stupid, that lady who was interviewing the people, got on my last nerve. Adding her little snide comments, Abby had no reason to be there, Darcey's sister wasn't going to "spill" like she wanted, Tarik's brother aka cousin, wanted his 15 minutes of fame, saying her hardly talked to Hazel, but revealed to him she's bi 😂

Anyone else notice how Ricky was talking to Ximena in English and she was answering? His fake near drowning was ridiculous, i use to like him, but that fanny pack, and his poor me look, on the verge of tears is so phony. He loves Ximena as much as i do!! 

 

Rachel making a big deal out of Jon telling his former ex he did really love her. She was a relationship from years ago, that Jon now realizes how bad he treated her and did really love her. It DOESN'T mean he still loves her Rachel!! Geezzz. How Rachel blinks and makes faces when Jon says something she doesnt like, umm what age are you? Keep crying and looking at your fingers then. You don't know this man, but agreed to marry after meeting him once.

Jesse is sadistic, only reason he came to tell Darcey in person is so he could feel superior and hurt her again. Granted Darcey is very insecure, but she didn't deserve that. Sounds like her sister is as bad as her, dating some 20 yr old from Albania. 

 

Pole and Karine are a mess. It was sad her losing the baby, Pole looked lost, language barrier doesn't help. Since Karine moved from the depths of the jungle to the city, her looks have changed. Her hair is a greasy mess, she looks dirty and unkept. Where as Pole was the one who looked dirty and unkept before. He needs to cut his losses and go back to Mommy
