This episode was underwhelming compared to my expectations after the previews last week. A lot was pretty predictable. But, like the typical reality TV train wreck, I couldn't look away.

I knew Karine was going to be pregnant after that whole "she's at the clinic, I never saw this coming". She went on and on about wanting a baby so much in the beginning, and he was on board with it, so I wondered if they'd pulled that trigger already before she flipped out and decided she didn't want to be married anymore. How awkward that doctor's visit had to be.

MOTS (Mouth of the South, from now on how I refer to her) is like bipolar when it comes to being in touch with reality. For like 5 seconds, it seemed like she'd had a reality check - he's using you, finally you joined the rest of us on Planet Real Life. But all it took was some cake and more sexual innuendos to win her back over. That was easy.

Tarik and Hazel are boring. She's a dead giveaway, doesn't seem to have any shame about it, and he chooses to look past it. They could remove them from the show and ratings would maintain.

The Christian stripper is already on my nerves. "He doesn't like that I'm a stripper and isn't a fan of my religion" - so, I'm going to dress like a stripper with a cross hanging between my boobs when I video chat him, and then ask him if he likes how I look. She's like Darcey 2.0. If she's blonde next season, and this guy's wearing a headband, I'm flipping a table.

Speaking of. I'm kind of excited to see her lose her mind next week (apparently), is that horrible? She flips her switch SO FAST. While I can sort of understand where Jesse is coming from, flying out there just to break up with her is so dramatic and unnecessary. It's a waste of both their time.

That is actually false.  Yes, there are two year programs, but including all of the science pre-reqs, they take more like 3-4 years, if you can even get in.  And nursing requires a lot of critical thinking and intelligence.  Plus, there is no way a nurse her age would earn so little as to have to work two jobs.  She would be at ~ $60/hour by 52, unless she came to the profession extremely late.

She's a CNA (nurse's aid).

The UNFAIR-ytale continues...   Rachel and Jon learn that being convicted of bodily injury is not a charge taken lightly by the US Gov.  But instead she whines how unfair it is.  I wonder if the attorney shared with her the upcoming costs?  Flights to UK, immigration fees,  processing fees,  potential attorney fees, etc.  They're both living paycheck-to-paycheck and her decision is to race off to marry him?   Not very bright.

You correct about that and she just pissed me off to no end. She complains about the time it will take for them to be together because he decided to get in a bunch of fights when he was younger. She can barely afford the flight over and stay in England. So how will she afford all the fees coming up because she WILL have to use a attorney to get him here.

BTW her attorney is a idiot suggesting the K3 visa.

OMG! How do they expect to afford the immigration process AND supporting him while he waits to work (assuming they get K1) if they can't even afford to visit!? So ridiculous.

That's no different than we see on the forum every day.  People barely surviving week to week, deciding that they want to bring over an even poorer person to share their misery with.   My thought is that if you can't sponsor an immigrant without needing a co-sponsor, you can't afford to support another person.  That's why those people always ask about how long before the immigrant can work.

Like when Rachel goes wedding dress shopping but doesn't buy one because there's no way that she can afford a measley $750.  Seriously.  <SMH>

Or Big mouth of the South buying the engagement ring for the Nigerian scammer at a pawn shop on lay-away.

And next week's preview showed Karine crying at the doctor's.  Miscarriage?  That's rough, I wouldn't wish that on anybody, especially after you can see it on ultrasound.  I know because my wife and went through it a month ago.

Yea, That is what I am waiting for.  You know she will flip out and become psycho.

He comes to USA and wants to fight, he will end up bullet in him.  Texas don't play with people always wanting to start trouble, and I am sure it is the same way in the rest of the US.

To be fair - $750 isn't exactly measly, at least for me lol and I don't consider myself paycheck-to-paycheck. My wedding dress didn't cost that much, and I probably would have reacted the same way, by thinking "wow that much money would go a long way for our process fees". HOWEVER - considering how naïve they seem to be with this whole thing, I do find it telling, in that I don't think either of them are financially or emotionally prepared for this. They don't seem prepared for the long wait, and yeah - if you can't even afford your tickets to visit each other, or an average wedding dress, how are you going to make it to the finish line? Neither one of them seem equipped to do so - she's a single mom of two kids who set up a GoFundMe page just to VISIT him, and he lives at home with his mom and I'm not sure how it is in the UK, but having such a heavy criminal record could impede upon on his ability to get as nice a job as he may could get without the record.

LOL I said the same thing to my husband. Plane tickets were too much for them - I can only imagine the reaction to immigration costs.

You're right.  I meant it's measly in relation to how much the entire immigration journey costs in total, $750 is chump change.

That's very true! You spend about that much just submitting the first application, lol

I've been curious if they'd need/needed a co-sponsor, since it's based off the petitioner's financial status. I don't know what she does for a living, but she's got a 3 person household already and appears to struggle as it is.
