They shouldn't blame TLC,  they are all the definition of desperate.  Bringing an engagement ring with you to your first meeting of your "girlfriend" whom you've never spent a single minute with (in Rickey's case, never even seen online) can be viewed as desperate.  

 

Subject #1 spent 6 hours in a looney bin church with people rolling around on the floor, crying, screaming to God.  He cried at the airport when he saw her. 

Subject #2 sent relatively large amount of money to at least 2 chicks he has never met.

Totally agreed.  She doesn't love him, nor even care for him, other than caring that she won't lose ("him"-read: her chance at a better life) to another woman.  She's not jealous in terms of love.  She's jealous in terms of losing her lottery ticket.

 

She admitted on camera that she doesn't even find him attractive.  Honestly, she would be willing to marry virtually ANY American that contacted her online.  The brother is trying to save him, but Tarik is a blind idiot.

Jesse’s behavior is classic psychopathic abuser. I noticed when they were in the grocery store and looking at carrot cakes he said something like “oh look at this little carrot cake - all little and cute like you, Darcy” and kissed her on the top of her head. And again in the grocery store he was hugging her, caressing her and so in. Always putting on a show in public but when they get back to the house he yells at her, belittles her, abuses her.

Jesse has to put with Darcy always acting like a child and wanting approval and acceptance.  When he scolds her then she pouts or makes faces, and she always seems to cry each episode.

 

Jesse is fairly entertaining to watch, Darcy on the other hand is cray cray and she gets on my nerves also.

 

I think in  previous life, Jesse was part of the Hitler Youth Movement...…….
