What got me yelling at the tv the most was Pole complaining that shopping with Kareeeeneeee is “like shopping with a 12-year-old”. What did he bring for her in the million foot lockers? Unicorn slippers, stuffed animals, Lucky Charms, onesies.... He treats her like a child and then complains when she acts like one.

Pole went from the most entertaining cast member to most boring in one season.  He had me laughing so hard last season, now this season he is just boring.

What has Tarik gotten himself into???!?!?! They were in church for 6 hours?? Hazel's mother is crazy like, lets get you baptized.

The mother is crazy, and probably Hazel is just as bad.

6 hours in church of insane idiots,  I couldn't and wouldn't of done it myself.

This season is the Bobo olympics.  Lots of contestants.

Rickey has the lead by a wide margin by sending money to a hooker he's never even met just because she sent him some nice pics.  Wondering what the story is with the second girl.  I bet he sent her money too.  He may have already won gold.

Tarik is next by traveling all the way to Phils with an engagement ring for a girl who admittedly doesn't even find him attractive.  Spends 6 hours in a church of "insane idiots" (I like that description). I think he got more than he bargained for.  I loved when he met the parents.  His attempt at flattery ("Tell your mom that I can see where you get your good looks from" and "Your dad is handsome" didn't quite work.  I think even the parents didn't buy it.  LOL)  At least he declined the baptism.  I would have bet that he would accept it.  Good for him.  I think his brother will call Hazel out for being a GC-digger.  Outsiders always see things clearer than the love birds.

Grandma (aka Mouth of the South (I like that one too)) is next, travelling to Africa to meet a scammer half her age.  She is probably the least experienced dealing with another culture.  And she's so out of her element.  I'm sure that the mother didn't notice the gross "kiss" to transfer the half-chewed snail from her mouth to his.  (Great, I just threw up in my mouth AGAIN.)

Paul is next living with a 21 year old child who loves teddy bears and doesn't like to clean the house.  The clearest example of how immature Karine is was in last week's show when discussing having a baby she said: "If we have a baby it will make our relationship stronger and WE WON'T FIGHT ANYMORE"  Riiiiiight, because having a baby is the magic solution to ALL relationship problems.  And he has to get Mother's permission for major decisions.  Did anybody think that her parents would object to their relationship when reviewing his criminal record?  Maybe if he was Jeffrey Dahmer who killed and ate people.

Darcey is in a special category because she's not a bobo, she's just pathetic.  She is so desperate, literally begging him to love her and be a farter (that's how Jessie pronounces "father") to her daughters.  She is overly preoccupied with the physical, as well as appearances, more than he is.  I think he's ready to bolt but you can tell that he loves the US and really wants to live there.  He can be a brash in the way he treats her and talks to her.  I get that she often behaves like a child but he is often very mean to her.  Like when he was trying to answer a question to the camera and she interrupted, he snapped at her and embarrassed her.  There's a better way to handle that.

Reminded me of this funny scene.  Also Dutch.

You gotta agree that Karine surprising Pole with the mosquito net set up in the HOTEL room was pretty funny.

1. It's a mosquito net inside a HOTEL room

2. SHE set it up before he came back to Brazil

3. It's a mosquito net inside a HOTEL room

Yeah, it seems like Paul has more sense this season, if that's possible lol

Help me out here, folks. I'm struggling to see what Jon and Rachel bring to the table of craziness.

We have Dog the Bounty Hunter's long-lost twin travelling to Nigeria (which she thinks might be a state or might be a country) to grope a man 20 years younger whilst pretending to kiss him in front of his mother but is really just getting rid of snails. We have the return of Pole who carries his mother's hair with him everywhere to remind him he needs to ask her permission to propose to Kareeenee or to make babies with her. Although mana said "no" quite emphatically, Pole is going to do both anyway since he even has the paperwork to prove he can't follow the rules or instructions. We have Jesse and Darcy which is like watching a car crash in slow motion. At least we know the secret to her weight loss - she can't finish a plate of food without crying and running from the table. Must try that myself. We have Tarik who puts on his best pharaoh wife-beater to meet the parents of a girl who wants to marry him but doesn't want him to touch her, only to find that they spend 6 hours every Sunday in hysterics on the floor. Soon his brother will arrive and the wife-beaters get upgraded to mesh shirts. And we have Ricky in Camo trying to disguise that he's desperate enough to pay for a flight ticket to see not one but two girls just in case one of them doesn't work out. It's day 3 of his trip and we have already moved on to number 2. Let's see if she lasts longer than dinner and a taxi ride home.

And then we have Jon and Rachel. Compared to the others, these look like the most normal people on earth. When TLC was reviewing and selecting candidates for the show, what made the producers say "Yes! This is exactly what we need!". So far the craziest thing she has done is wear an 80s ugly Christmas sweater to meet his sister. His family seem normal. Fair enough, she has two kids from previous relationships but that's not uncommon in many western countries, where divorce rates are increasing and there is no longer any stigma attached to being a single parent. Both my brothers married women who had children already. My ex-husband dated a single mother after we divorced. My husband's ex had 3 children prior to meeting him. It's not shocking. Plenty of other participants have had children in the past (Mark, Melanie, Brett, possibly Jorge, Tarik, Patrick, Ricky, Angela, Danielle, Hazel, Josh - the one with Aika, Alla and I believe Alexsandra arrived pregnant by her "friend" in Prague because there's no way she and Mormon Josh produced a bi-racial child). There must be something else to their story. I am from the U.K. and I asked my husband if he would do anything like this type of show. He said "who'd watch us? We have no language barrier, no huge age difference, you're not from a poor country dreaming of a better life, we don't fight and run crying from restaurants. If they saw our application it would be shredded immediately". So why were Jon and Rachel selected? Were there only 6 applicants?

My husband and I believe the rumors that they had already met and married before appearing on the show, and I personally believe (if this is true), that the show cast them for just that reason - to give viewers something to dig up and talk about. There have been countless articles and Google searches on them already, and this season has barely reached its midpoint. Great for ratings.

Håll ut, y'all.

Good point. The marriage certificate has surfaced online and thry got married in the U.K. in May and the "meeting" we are seeing was filmed just before Christmas. The U.K. requires a visa to get married unless you are an EU citizen. You cannot get married whilst visiting. So the marriage was not spontaneous. But that's a good point that they appear so ordinary you become convinced there must be something to find out somewhere.

I didn't meet my husbsnd online so I don't know much about going to meet someone you've been talking to online but it did seem odd to me that she allowed a man that she had never met before to FaceTime with her whilst she was giving birth. And sent him a piece of umbilical cord. I don't think I can get my head around that. Would be interesting to hear from others who did meet online how much they would have shared before meeting face to face. Especially since her past experience with men has been so disastrous. How could she be sure that this one would be any different? I did think the meeting we saw at Paddington station was their first one. They did have a certain awkwardness about them, I think. But I wonder how interested they are in the K-1 process if less than 5 months later she has acquired a marriage visa for the U.K.  and they have married there. That required some planning.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Exactly! Or perhaps even the show "leaked" that information themselves, to further stir the pot. :reading:

As a couple that did meet online - no, it is absolutely strange to FaceTime the guy you haven't met yet in the delivery room, and/or send him a piece of the child's delivery in the mail. lol. I positively love my husband, and yes, a part of me already loved him before we met face to face. But I would have NEVER done that, had I been in the same situation. No matter how close we felt beforehand, I still felt I was meeting a stranger, in a sense, the first time he visited. That quickly dissipated, but you really don't know until you are face to face. Not to mention, I definitely would not have taken my baby daughter with me on a trip to meet this person for the very first time. I've always told my husband, if I'd had children before him, he wouldn't have even met them on his first visit. I'm not even a fan of her already talking about the baby calling him Dada/Daddy. I have to applaud him on his response to that - my husband exclaimed GOOD FOR HIM when he responded to her during that episode, haha.

I would think so also, but she is all starry eyed in love. Maybe they will spill the beans like Molly did with Luis, or wait until the tell all show? But he can't leave the UK so it seems, next week i think we find more out about his criminal past. Teaser showed him telling her about doing bodily harm to someones eye.

It makes me think of Molly and Luis, too! Maybe it'll come out like that at some point; he couldn't travel to the US, or get a K1 visa, because of his criminal history.
