I am sure I can speak not just for myself when I say there is no way we would compare you to Ari.

I did wonder how old she is, that is becoming a trait, late 30s?

Thank you for the vote of confidence -- even on my rattiest, nastiest days I don't think I descend to that level of self-centeredness. I think Ari is 30 or 31. I had my first real "I am out here on my own" moment when I was just a smidge older, and even then I chose to avoid the safety net. Without really giving voice to it, I knew I was old enough to at the very least try to handle things on my own. And when it wasn't going so well, I asked for the real help families can give their adult members, which is to say emotional support, not necessarily monetary support.

Ari needs to get a job that isn't writing a travel blog or setting up an Etsy shop unless she can move serious product. She worked in a doctor's office before, she can do that again. Or any number of other white collar jobs that give her enough flexibility as a reasonably new mom. And Bini needs to consider what he will do once he gets his EAD that isn't "I'm an MMA fighter!" It's weird that of all the foreign fiances this season only Miona has an actual plan about what she's going to do once she can work -- and that's developing a makeup line!

Bini started BiniFit training and some other stuff.  Not sure how long his EAD took.  The two of them have a little tour company that takes Americans across to Ethiopia.  They have been resourceful but it will be interesting to see the journey on 90 Day for how they actually got there and what successes and failures they had and how much help they were given.

I kinda think Jibri's mom is playing the "protect my baby" cards a bit by being hard on both him and Miona.  But they can't cook...is this kinda like what Boiler eluded to with the early 30yo's being somewhat helpless because of all this parental coddling?  I guess I'm just a jerk parent.  My 15yo can cook and we ride my 12yo's butt to learn to cook some basics because well, we don't want anyone starving!

Okay, confession time. It was my birthday this past Sunday, and my husband's present didn't arrive in time. I said no worries, it'll come when it comes. He said it wasn't a big gift, but he'd put a lot of thought into it, and really considered what my interests are before purchasing it. Well, it finally arrived and...

He bought me a pair of these rhinestone-bedazzled joggers from Darcey & Stacey's clothing line, House of 11.

Can I just say I actually really like them? They're very comfy and quite well made. The rhinestones are, uh, relatively discreet. For rhinestones. I mean, he could have bought me this:

This seems more representative, presumably their shipping costs are significant.

Really don't like those -- something about an elasticated waist on denim looks cheap.

My kid would fight you about that.  LOVES the cake and eat it too with "jean sweats".  Not my jam either, but what's for the goose may not be for the gander!

Yve better rethink the whole Mohamed thing.  Did she do NO research on how the Islamic faith is practiced in Egypt?  It's not a wayfair thing and of course he would like her to convert.

Ari is off the rails jealous.  I really don't think Bini gives a second look to who he's sparring with.  He just doesn't want his butt whooped by a girl...except Ari whips it all the time!

Jabri and Daveed...🙄

Sitting in a restaurant at JFK and thought I spotted SteVen (of SteVen and Alina) but sadly no. I would have shared a pic!

You are flying Commercial?

Yes, my days on the PJ are very sadly behind me. It was good while it lasted, except for the company.

I am trying to imagine any reality in which my husband and I would wear matching clothes like Jibri and Miona.

You would need different sizes

On family Chantel... Winter is undergoing gastric sleeve (weight loss) surgery in Tijuana.  Yes, Mexico.  Funny from this family who wants to pretend to be so upper class and rich but can't afford surgery in the US.  Also, Winter admitted that the requirements in the US are too tough.  Usually, doctors want to see you drop some weight by dieting before doing the surgery so you can demonstrate that you will be able to handle earing less calories daily.  But the sad reality is that most big people think that this surgery is magic and will make them skinny and they can continue to eat 10,000 calories per day.

And Winter was contacted by and has been chatting with some guy from Nigeria.  I wonder how much money she sends him.  Yet the family sees no problem with it.

If you ever watch the documentary "Lularich" you'll see that TJ gastric sleeve surgery was pushed by one of the wealthy owners on her highest-earning associates. It's a thing.

This new season has 2 broke USC's and bring their fiances to live with their parents, .  Why do people do that?  I get that we all have budgets and money is a concern for most people, but they could not survive on their own by themselves so they decide to bring a foreigner who can't work for your parents to support.

Jabri and Miona

Emily and Kobe

-Bilal is always patronizing to her and has control issues.  And she's an entitled gold digger so that's not gonna work long term.

-Emily's father asked Kobe about his future work plans and Kobe said that he's done architecture and civil engineering. But when the father asked about training or school, he has high school.  Not sure how architecture and engineering works in Africa but it's different in the US.  Then Kobe says that he would like to learn so he can take over the father's business.  The father tried very hard to not laugh.  Off camera he said that his idea is ridiculous.

-Muhammad talks too softly and it's annoying.  And his super Muslim rules aren't gonna work for most American women.  The desperate ones would do anything.  He needs to find a mid to late 50-something.

-Patrick cheated (or kissed) with another girl, so that's why he has to share his location.  And when the brother decided to throw a house-warming party and some chubby chicks came in, Thais is watching like a hawk.  Patrick is so uncomfortable.  And at one point she takes him aside to remind him that she's watching, and feels the need to tell her that these girl are ugly and she's a Brazilian beauty.

I get moving in with your parents for a while to save money as long as the goal is to move out, and there is a deadline for that goal. But there's no deadline with Kobe and Emily, not even a goal to leave! Her parents have made her the monster she is by not making her ever have to stand on her own two feet, and then her dad is like, well, Emily doesn't know anything about money. Well, I wonder why that is?

At least Miona wants to get out of South Dakota.
