Many do not get green cards, which is why the franchise now has multiple other shows where the foreign partner does not immigrate.

I can't decide which is going to be the most amazing -- the guy who looks like a minion with his girlfriend who can't speak a word of English and hates the smell of his farts; the former pastor-turned-model who looks like he has anger management issues in all his pics with his much, much younger Peruvian hottie who may or may not be catfishing him; or the weeaboo (except nutty about China instead of Japan) with her jacked up wig and her Chinese boyfriend who has to explain to his parents that she's a big girl because Americans eat dessert.

 

Before the 90 is my favorite in the franchise -- nobody's fully committed to each other yet so the stakes are lower and the situations are even crazier.

Ok, so i watched some of the past episodes. I met Gino, Caleb, Memphis and Kim. 

 

Gino is in big trouble, way over his head! He has been out of work, but sent Jasmine money for her lips, brows, hair ect 🙄 She is a MEAN girl

Caleb seemed the most normal and realistic to me. When he told his parents he was going on a trip, i had a strange fascination with his father's  hair and eyebrows. lol

Memphis, looking for love in all the wrong places. Shopping for a father figure for her kids. She is going to be in for a shock, thinking of what happened to Brittany here.

Kim, another Baby Girl Lisa. We know how this will end.

I agree.  Sad, because she is a successful, professional woman who has had the misfortune of being in bad relationships, so she falls for anyone who is willing to be present.  She undersells her worth as a human.

Unfortunately her upbringing factors in this, all the foster homes, her mom who she really didn't have a relationship with because of her addiction. Flying off to Tunisia, i believe that's where he's from, and marrying a stranger, that she has to talk to him through a translator, isn't promising.

Yes, exactly.  At least Memphis is aware of her childhood trauma, and that she's now chasing what she missed.

Her plan is so sweet though. Meet and "get to know each other" first week. Get married second week. Then "honeymoon" third week. 

Paul and Karine made it work with their translator app, so maybe there is hope for this couple.

It's so hard for me to get my head around this. I know some people are successful with only knowing each other a short time before marrying -- plenty of them on VJ -- but I couldn't. I knew my husband for 15 years before we got married, most of those as just friends, but I like to think we had a very good idea of who the other was before we got married. But I'm still finding out new stuff about him all the time. Like yesterday I found out he thought it was totally cool when he was 90 minutes late to his own company holiday dinner that I had shown up to on time, and at which I had to make polite small talk with people I really don't know that well for all that time. 

 

Later at home, he learned that it is not totally cool and that also he owes me big time. Big, big time.  I told him I take Venmo.
