 What a mess underneath. This is why you need to pay top dollar for extensions, not whatever mall strip special they go for. They'd be better off at this point getting a pixie cut and then growing it out long enough to get decent clip ins. The ones from Barefoot Blonde are excellent I am told (I do not use them, but my sister does for special events). I know some people can't grow their hair out, or want more volume, but they are doing serious damage to what remains of their natural hair. 

 

On an unrelated note, I was thinking the other day about Roland Barthes' classic essay about professional wrestling when I was watching HEA. I'd read it years ago in college for a class in semiotics. Specifically, I was thinking about the show as "spectacle," where there is a veneer of reality upon an artificial premise, and how both the participants and the spectators play their role in creating the spectacle. It really is worth a read -- it's not very long.

There was a funny meme on Reddit of both her and her daughter sporting I Dream of Jeannie style high pony tails.....it was "BOGO hair extensions at Dollar Tree."   

 

I've also been enjoying the hair fails on Darcey and Stacey.  I don't know much about extensions, but my guess is the tape isn't meant to be visible.
