Why do most of the cast members on 90DF seem to complete losers who have never had a girlfriend and then they are convinced that the Russian/Ukrainian wanna be model is in love with them?  LOL

Last night’s episode.... what the heck was Rebecca doing? She was on the USCIS page, not CEAC. When she said “his visa is approved” she was looking at the approval of the I-129F. Of course that was approved! He would not have had an interview if it wasn’t. She said “it has been showing administrative processing for a week but now it’s approved”. USCIS doesn’t show the visa status, only the petition.

Was this just for the show or is she really that clueless about the process she has been through twice now?

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Yes, I need to give up thinking about all the inaccuracies in the show. It’s pointless. I gave up on Reddit when they showed Mike and Natalie and she got her visa and had only a few weeks to use it (because she had a lengthy AP for unknown reasons) and everyone on Reddit was jumping up and down with “no way did she have only a few weeks” and I tried to explain that the visa is valid for six months from the date of the medical not the interview. The armchair experts on Reddit kept shouting me down, despite the fact that my experience of immigration goes far beyond watching a reality TV show. Incidentally, Mike and Natalie live not far from me and it’s been interesting to see a location I am very familiar with on TV. I can see why she feels bored or isolated here. But again the K-1 process (especially on this show) is often done by people who know nothing about the person (beyond the bedroom) or place (beyond the fact that it’s “in America somewhere”) they are moving to.

that makes sense, because i thought the same, thinking she just wanted to pressure him to get her here faster. i had forgotten about the lengthy AP and its dated from medical. good catch.

angelas attorney constantly made me want to throw him through his window.

tariq and his toy (LOL) arent far from me. Theyre in virginia beach. ive seen several locations and i get all excited ' i know where that is! i ve been there!" LOLOL

Funny thing is Larissa lives in the same city as I do. I actually ran into her before Christmas shopping. :o I only saw her from afar. Pretty sure now that her and her new boy toy have split up she will move back to Las Vegas though. I mean Colorado Springs is probably too small for her. LOL

Did Larissa look as ridiculous in person as she did on the show?

I gave up on this show after season 6 I believe, haha.

The Happily ever after stuff is funny sometimes.

Theres more of these spin-offs now I lost interest.

I will be honest though, I still check in once in a while with Paul and Karine, and Angela and Michael.

Highly agree.  Angela gets pissed over the smallest of things most of the times, claims to be done with the relationship, but stays anyways haha.

This new season is as ridiculous as usual, they don't disappoint.

Russian go-go dancer comes to Virginia to live on a farm with her "fiance" and his parents, and is forced to do farm work ta day break when she's used to coming home at that hour.

The parents are such weirdos, and seem so two-faced.  All smiles to her face and probably conspiring against her behind her back.

So the kids picked their wedding date as May 9th, but the parents said that it's a bad date because it's mother's day.  HUH?

And they introduced the girl to his grandfather, and he's a walking cliche.  First thing he says when interviewed (away from them) is that foreign women promise marriage, sex, etc but they only want a green card.

That Natalie chick is NUTS.

She thinks coming to the US and can start demanding changes like him becoming a vegetarian, stop drinking alcohol, become religious.  If he doesn't stop eating meat, that's a sign of disrespect for her.  LOONEY.  He should just send her on the next flight back to the Ukraine, it's only gonna get worse.

My husband and I met up in cancun when we were waiting for his K1.   He was coming from Romania, his flight was thru mexico city and he was detained.  It took some time for him to get thru due to the language barrier.  He was told that because he was single and bought a ticket at the last minute they wanted to make sure he wasn't planning on staying and that he had a return ticket.  His sister met up with us on a holiday to cancun a few years ago and she also flew from Romania thru Mexico city and was detained there too for even longer for the same reason.  I'm not sure its that unusual.

Believe it or not but Mexico tends to be pretty tough in regards to Immigration. So unless you plan on going to the USA then they can an will detain you.
