I think this season is the season of the catfish, I just hope that they don't stretch it out for the whole season like they did with Caesar.

Also the couples all seem to be doomed this year apart from the lesbian couple?

The mini-me guy with the Philippine chick in the hotel room was hard to watch.  So awkward, looked like a human trafficker and his victim.  She has zero attraction to him, it's strictly about moving out of the slums.

Darcey is still Darcey, completely delusional about what's going on.  What's with girl spa day at the family pool?  First she tried playing like she didn't care that Tom was coming to NY, but we all knew that she would be there in NY ready for marriage.

The guy with the Ukrainian catfish is a complete loser.  He seems to have some dough so he must have a good head for business, why is he dumb?

Grandma Lisa is already irritating the Nigerian guy and his friends with her rules and bossiness.  That's gonna go down in flames.  All it will take is on female and it's done.

It’s already done. Trump took care of that with the Nigerian travel ban.

From my understanding he made his money in computers.  Programming perhaps? A lot of people I know in that field, outside of the sales guys, are... not very socially apt.  Lots of Austim/ Aspergers and just anti-social folk.  Super intelligent, but no street smarts.

I agree.  A catfish story occasionally can be interesting and educational, but they are having too many, and milking them for too long.

I do think the lesbian (or bisexual) couple are genuine, but I am not sure they will make it.  Sounds like the foreign lady is very out, and the American is not.  Those two lifestyles don't mix.  American lady is also a Instagrammer, so another one for "hey, media will make me famous".

Lisa is trying too hard to be Angela.  It's still not pleasant to watch.  It's embarrassing as an American that they represent us.  And she takes that song that he wrote for her as real.  It's comical how seriously she takes it.  Even her friends were rolling their eyes.  And what's with the "recording studio" being in the back of a cosmetics store?  And why does a big star share a bedroom with 2 other guys with no shower and toilet?

What is wrong with Ash's eyes?  They seem to want to pop out of his head.

Why does mini-me think that asking Rose (who below average looking for a Filipina) to take an STD test will allow him to trust her?  If she's clean it means that she doesn't sleep around.  I get it now, silly me.

Jeez... these guys are so jealous yet they must know that these women are talking and seeing other American when they aren't in country.

That Russian is just wants a green card and she got outed by her "friends".  Awesome,.

Lesbian couple:  Was it ever explained why the Australian isn't visiting the American at home if it is so dangerous for the American girl to travel?  Australians can visit for tourist purposes no problems...

Ash: I remember reading somewhere he may have some chromosomal thing that makes his eyes pop.

Rose: He probably thinks she is/ was a bar girl.  Not an unrealistic assumption (and would make getting the visa difficult).  I get why she got annoyed, especially when he refused to get his own, and from her reaction/ telling of past relationships she may have been abused.  But I  think there is nothing wrong with asking to get an STD test unless you trust someone is a virgin. I mean with AIDS and all that, better safe than sorry.

I am sure if they selected most of us here, the show would be canceled for lack of ratings. It seems like they get crazier every year. I doubt a normal well adjusted couple like Loren and Alexei, would make the cut now

we didnt after i explained how normal and boring we are to the casting director 🤣

Well awkward convo for first meeting someone no doubt and that is what is at issue.

in fairness if he wants her to have one then he should as well.  In addition only proves a point in time that she is clean - she could go out for a few hrs sleep with another person and all is moot.
