Agreed,  Painful to watch and he seems social awkward as well

I want them to showcase more about how he copes with new and exotic African foods.  After all,  back at home he subsists on Doritos, twinkies and crustless baloney sammiches.  He looks like he has never eaten a vegetable.

What is the matter with Brother Akinyi? He’s bullying Benjamin. Telling him that he “got things wrong” because he didn’t bring her a gift when he flew thousands of miles to see her and paid for an Air BnB that he hasn’t been allowed to stay in. I never brought gifts for my husband when we were long-distance and would never expected a gift from him. His gift was the visit. And now he has changed the current argument to make it look like Benjamin is in the wrong because Brother Akinyi upset her and she walked away from the family gathering.

In some cultures its kind of expected.

Family Chantel... classless.  Nothing more needs to be said.

I like Pedro. Seems like a solid dude, Her family its nuts, although I wonder how much is scripted. Chantels dad seems pretty cool,,,,, but seems like he gets sucked into the drama by the nutso mom. The brother River is an idiot, Pedro tried hard to be nice to him. I wish Pedro had connected and busted a few teeth in the fight.

The scene where they get Pedro's sister to bring in the girl Pedro danced with, so Chantel can confront her. Who does that ?  That had to be invited for TV

Another thing I dont get. Pedros family does not like Chantell or her family, why do they keep dragging Chantels family to the DR. Once again Drama scripted TV

Bottom line, is they would probably be fine if the stayed away from family more. Chantel is a bit immature.
