I have a 4/27/07 NOA2 date.....and NVC has still not received my file

Hey lucho - did you call yet today? Nudge, nudge, go call 'em (I was only on hold 5 minutes) and see what they say. Can help us, perhaps, sort out Scarlett's approval date and what the times-to-NVC look like (this week anyway).

I called this morning and nothing yet. I'm trying again right now...but lines are busy. I'll be trying twice a day, keep you posted.

I would like to issue an RFE to CSC!!!

If you look at your NOA2 hardcopy it says, "We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State National Visa Center..."

RFE for keyword = sent (past tense)

DEFINITION of Sent = past tense of send

CSC Definition of Sent = milking it until we have a stack that is as tall as Yao Ming, then we'll send them all off together.

My file got to NVC on Friday, May 4th, and it was sent to Juarez today, Tuesday, May 8th.

4 day turn around, not bad.

Oh man. Should I have gotten our NVC Case # when I called? And then what would I do with it? heh.

Hope everybody gets approved & onto NVC soon! As tall as Yao Ming...LOL!

Count me in with the list of peeps waiting for it to arrive. I have been calling everyday cause we have to change our address but no luck! I was one of those folks that the CSC told on the phone that we were approved on April 23rd but didn't receive the email until May 3rd. Was so hoping I was in the same pile as Scarlett07.

I sent them an email to let them know about the address change and of course since they don't have our case they never responded. Anyone ever have any luck with emailing them?

Called last week they told me it takes 90 days.

Called this morning at 9:30 am EST waited about 4 minutes.

They told me that they received my packet on Monday May 7.

If I go by the above posters "bcartr" & "wissooner" timelines....I think my file should get to NVC next monday. I have a 4/27 NOA2.

It looks like it's taking about 2 weeks for the petitions to make t to NVC. So yeah Lucho, I think yours should be checked in by next week. After that, it'll be me.

yeah, looks like abotu 14-17 days? I can handle that, I suppose. I mean, I'd prefer 7. Or 1. But compared to, like, say, 111 days of waiting for something . . . .

Any other recently approved brides-to-be tentatively starting to looks at wedding dresses again? I'm sort of slighly looking at wedding things - don't want to jinx anything!

What's the significance of the NVC Case # again?? Should I call back and ask for it??

That case number that NVC gives you is the one you'll have at the consulate.
