Sweet, congrats!!!

Any set interview dates for January filers??? CSC Jan filers that is.

got our letter from the NVC yesterday indicating they'd sent off our application to Vancouver on Monday  hopefully my packet should arrive next week sometime!

quick question, though i'm pretty sure i know the answer... the letter from the NVC and the NOA2 letter are two different letters, right? if so, we still have NOT received the NOA2 letter. i know it's not a month yet (since CSC approved our petition), but if the NVC one came so quickly, i'm starting to get a little worried. the CSC is MUCH closer to my fiance than the NVC is, so i dunno...

I got my letter from the NVC today (May 19). It was dated May 16, 2007... and the information I got on the phone earlier this week they told me that on May 15, 2007 my case was sent to the embassy in Poland. The letter is a form letter stating that "...within a week the petition wil be forwarded to the appropriate visa-issuing post where your visa interview will take place." Then some info about my case, new case number, bar code, then where it will be processed, then a short statement stating that my fiancee will get a packet soon with some instructions from the embassy. Donno if this is usefullll info for anyone out there

Hello fellow VJ-ers,

This is my first post. I just found out, after waiting in agony for two weeks after my first post NOA1 touch, that my petition was actually approved, sent to and received by the NVC. While elated at the news, I am fuming over our Governments inability to notify me by any of THREE possible methods. They still have not updated my on-line status, sent me a confirmation email or a hard copy. Only by calling another US agency, the NVC, can I confirm that the CSC did in fact approve my petition; totally lame and unacceptable! Thank goodness for the VJ website and the power of people and information!

Our K-1 Timeline

1/29/07-- NOA1

5/03/07-- NOA2 (not known until 5/17/07)

5/04/07 through 5/17/07-- tortured by "computer glitch" at CSC

5/11/07-- Case sent to NVC (not known until 5/17/07)

5/16/07-- Case received at NVC (not known until 5/17/07)

5/17/07-- Called Cust Service, followed VJ.com forum advise re: RFE prompts, got live CSC operator

-- CSC operator informed me that NOA2 was approved 05/03/07 & Case sent to NVC on 5/11/07

-- When asked why I had not received any of three possible notifications, was told "computer glitch"

5/17/07-- Called NVC and was told case was received on 5/16/07

5/23/07-- Case left NVC

6/01/07-- received email from Moscow consular office stating "as of today, case not recieved from NVC"

6/04/07-- (30 days after approval petition) Called CSC and requested a copy of NOA2

6/07/07-- received email from Moscow consular office stating "We are looking forward to seeing your

fiancee here on June 8." Called Moscow Embassy Visa Information Service and was told it was a

mistake, case has only been recieved electronically so far.

6/14/07-- Received approval notice email from USCIS. Case Status Service

Online updated to show "Approval notice sent"

6/16/07-- Finally received hard copy of NOA2 in mail

6/19/07-- Called Embassy Visa Support Services and was notified of interview date

8/22/07-- Interview

Ditto for us... If you want to be incompitant etc then do it with something less important than with peoples loved ones! At least we were actually approved and are outta there!
