Dont worry about that review blabber. They told me the same b.s. when I called them last week. One rep even told me, that it may take 4-6 weeks. Then I called back 2 minutes later to get a different rep on the phone, new rep said it only stays at NVC 2-3 days.

not to my case !

In fact, the rep didnt really say anything unless I ask her ... including my case no.

btw ... my case went wrong before but it was fixed. I called NVC at 8am EST today and the lady told me that my case has been sent to the HK embassy. I got a correct NVC case no. with the code "HNK"

I think you should call back and ask again, see if other rep tells you the same thing. or you may email NVC to clarify the situation. I emailed NVC 2 days ago and got the reply today. The rep answered my question in details !!

email add: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

good luck to you !

Thank you! i called again today and spoke to another rep, she mentioned nothing about additional administrative review, just said the case is still there and it usually takes 5 business days to finish the checks and ship cases to consulates.

How I don't want to be stuck there!!!!

Good luck to all of you guys with the rest of the journey!

I heard today that we got Packet 3 -- at my fiancee's parents house in Kent! Not his current address in London! ARRRRGH.

His parents are very kindly driving up to London with the packet.

Do I have to contact the embassy to make sure they send the to the correct address? I'm grateful they picked his parents' address, instead of the myriad of addresses my guy had before!

When I called NVC and they told me they had sent out the packet, I asked if they could see what address was on record for me (I put in a change of address some weeks ago on USCIS online) and they still had the old one.

I tried to call the consulate in Juarez, but I couldn't get access to a phone that would allow me to make a call to a 900 # yesterday, so instead I used the email on the immigrant visa section of the Juarez consulate. I sent it kind of late yesterday and by 10 AM today, they wrote back and said they put my new address in their computer system and would send the letter as soon as possible!

Let's hope it's true!

So, if you're unsure about where the embassy/consulate will send your packet, call or email them. It might help.

I just got an email from an inquiry i had made earlier from the NVC.

The file is now on its way to new delhi :)

now my question: why can't CSC be like NVC? lol

will keep ya updated

Great news!!

K1Journey - let's be in touch because our time lines are almost same. New Delhi is really good about returning emails. I got response back within 24 hrs. They said that they have received the paperwork from NVC and will be scheduling the interview for my wife soon.

My guy picks up his Packet 3 tomorrow at the Leb Embassy! :D

I still haven't received the NOA2 hard copy (I want to send him a copy with my paperwork since it's been recommended).

Earlier this week, I received a letter in the mail from NVC stating they had mailed it out to Leb. :dancing:

Post-jacked this info from Len & How...

INQUIRING ABOUT CASE NUMBER:

NVC Info (to find out when your case arrives/leaves there and to get NVC Case number):

Call (603) 334-0700 - press "1" for English then "5" to speak to a rep on the phone. Be ready with USCIS case number, beneficiary name and birthdate. K1 visas are NOT entered into the automatic system. Reps are available 7:30 AM - 12 midnight Eastern time. Call right after they open or right before they close for best results - during the day lines are always busy.

Is this the WAC receipt number? Thanks!

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.
