Hmm, ours STILL isn't at the NVC yet, this sucks!

I think its because I was with my fiance during the whole horrible NOA1-NOA2 wait. This must be fates way of "evening out" the fairness of it all!! I really have no right to complain

We still haven't got to NVC either... I call them every day now. I read somewhere that they update their system on Tuesdays, so maybe we'll get some news today???

Just select your country and the embassy and make sure you select the option for detailed results. It should give you a chart showing other couples' times at each step.

Hi. No you will not need the original NOA2 for your interview day. But you will need the original for other appointments after your fiance visa is approved. So, keep it handy. Can you help me with my timeline? How did you get your timeline to be included in all of your messages and replies? Thanks you, MinhaGatinha.
I thought a copy of the NOA2 would suffice at the interview - is the original neccessary? I see conflicting thoughts around VJ on that.

just wondering if u may 3 folks have gotten your paper NOA2s yet?

thanks!

Congrats to all during this process.

Does NVC email you when the case is forwarded to the embassy, and has anyone received any emails from tNVC or do they just send a hard copy?

I am traveling to my SO on Thursday and would like to have something in hand.

Our case was not in NVC system yesterday, but it is there today, and I got our new number, but the lady on the phone there scared me so much with what she said. She said, that our case is undergoing an additional administrative review by Washington agencies due to 11 September...but then I asked her if it is done to all cases or to some cases, and she said to all...which makes me feel a bit better.

She also said there is no predictable time when it will be cleared. I asked her when it makes sense to call again, and she said anytime. These scary words about an additional administrative review in Washington - is it their standard reply? did they say this to anybody else whose cases are already sent to your consulates? or did they use different wording? :help:

not to my case !

In fact, the rep didnt really say anything unless I ask her ... including my case no.

btw ... my case went wrong before but it was fixed. I called NVC at 8am EST today and the lady told me that my case has been sent to the HK embassy. I got a correct NVC case no. with the code "HNK"

I think you should call back and ask again, see if other rep tells you the same thing. or you may email NVC to clarify the situation. I emailed NVC 2 days ago and got the reply today. The rep answered my question in details !!

email add: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

good luck to you !
