Japan has the worse mental health care in any developed country.

Their attitude is comeback when you’re not able to go out of the house. And alcohol addiction is not even considered a problem here cause everyone drink extremely. Even though most can’t hold it.

Killing and self self harming in Japanese culture is also a big vague point... I got out of the house 2 hours early to my interview right now, to avoid if someone jumps in front of the train and my train stops again.

if you want her to be well and you love her, find a bilingual doctor, not sure if it exists in your area but you can at least give it a try.

if you don’t want to be with her anymore and don’t see this marriage going anywhere then get a divorce and the rest is hers to handle. Because immigrationwise you can’t do anything.

On another note, I’m sorry they really don’t check anything or even talk to you about anything in the medical exam in japan. I didn’t even need to say no but shake my head which was sad and alarming.
