Just home from my London knightsbridge medical

Hi 

 

I am just home from a long day in London after having my medical at knightsbridge. First off don't go to London while there is a Royal wedding and the fa Cup final hahaha ooooooo it was crazy. 

 

But anyway onto my medical, before I went, for weeks I was so scared it was unreal, I had a history of depression and suicidal thoughts (never self harmed or attempted suicide) so obviously that was a main fear of mine. My appointment was at 11:30 I arrived at the location at 9am ( I know right overkill much) so I went and got some breakfast and a coffee around the corner. Then at 11am I decided to go in and she said I'm early but it's not too busy so she took all my documents ( passport, photos, medical record overview, questionnaire etc). Then the lady gave me another questionnaire and a urine pot and told me to bring everytjing back together. I sat in the waiting room with a bunch of other very nervous people, after about 30 minutes of drinking litres of water I managed to pee and instantly got called trough by a lovely Welsh lady called Lucy, she was so calming it was unreal. She told me that all my vaccination records were upto date  and told me to sit in an office and wait for the lovely gentleman to call me for my chest xray.. After about 10/15 minutes the man called me for my interview and again he was lovely, really calming and you can tell he'

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
