Message to return package and visa after interview (split)

Hi everyone, I need help. My immigrant visa Was printed last week after the approval at my interview and I received my passport and packets but got an email and call from the embassy this morning to return the packet to the embassy and that I can’t travel with the visa anymore without any reason. Please what could be happening and has it happened to anyone?

Is your husband aware? He should contact his congressman immediately

When you check the status online what does it says?

I willl take the packet to them on Monday because I received their mail late. But I need them to give me reasons why.

It showed issued before I picked up my passport with visa packet. I just checked now and it’s showing ready.  I’m confused

You have nothing to worry about. Relax go meet with the, so you wil know why. Did you check the visa to see that is an immigrant visa and your names are well written on it?

Yes my names were printed on it and it was stated as immigrant visa at the top of the visa and the expiry date states October 2018.

What were the exact words on the email sent to you?

They said I should return the visa packet as I won’t be able to travel with the visa that was issued to me.

I think there is a mistake on the visa, hence you were asked to bring it back. What Month is the expiring month, day and when was it issued?
