Wonder if someone from the MDL will have the duty this weekend ?

I dont consider myself in any ditch, but I also work this weekend so don't look for me.

Wedding was wonderful also :) epic sermon...all the British people were squirming with awkwardness.

I had to have the volume down real low but certainly looked weird, how did he get past security?

It was him or the actual words of the sermon.

It was how animative he was. British sermons are always calm and fairly monotone.

You could tell people were awkward because they are all slightly shifting in their seats. Even the Queen. My wife felt for them.

Maybe he had not taken his meds?

It was a pretty normal from American standards. The British just prefer things a certain way.

The cellist was wonderful, and the Kingdom Choir was also very good.

Okay gotta start rounds.

Why aren't they called rectangles?  Aren't most hospitals constructed in squares or rectangles?

I believe it's because you go "around" to each patient. So that became rounding.

You don't go "arectangle" to each patient.

People have been hung, drawn and quartered for less.

no gun cabinet when i was growing up, but my dad had about 100 guns in the house, all hidden in various places.

i never touched one because he promised me that if i did, i'd personally meet every blade of grass in the back yard......

I am so sorry to hear that you lived in such an abusive and oppressive environment growing up.  I am sure you are now free to run wild, and create all sorts of havoc, bullying others like you were, attacking them at will, perhaps even getting a gun and going to shoot someone.

Wait, what?  That isn’t you?  You mean to tell the crowd that your dad actually taught you respect for guns and human life (especially yours!) by raising you that way?  Oh, and what’s that?  You think there were less issues with guns back when you were young BECUASE of the way you were raised?  I’d love to believe you, but too many here are telling me it’s the fault of the gun and/or the NRA, so Shirley you must be mistaken.  Carry on...

I also grew up in a small rural town in the 1960s where every truck had a rifle or shotgun in the window rack.  Hunting seasons were MAJOR area events, and owning guns was easy.  I don't remember this kind of tragedy happening then.....Access to guns has never been the problem.

I would argue that the availability of guns is not the factor we should be looking at. Mental health and the widespread use of SSRIs should be looked at as it seems to be a factor in most if not all of these shootings. SSRIs are known to cause suicidal and homicidal tendencies.
