My step kids are not going to Russia this summer. But they have a very close relationship with their Grandma (Fathers Side, which makes her my Wife's XMIL). We invited her for the kids sake (the reason I agreed). And didn't think she would get her Visa. But I guess the Embassy figured I would make sure she isn't overstaying her Visa (she was approved).

...and what? I guess I'm missing the point here. Is it surprising to you that some old lady from Russia got a visa?

Here's a newsflash.... a Ukrainian (recently naturalized American) friend of ours here in the U.S. has a young, single, and hot sister who lives in Kiev who recently got a multiple entry visa to the U.S. Maybe we should call USCIS and let them know about this tragic mistake before she comes.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Be careful what you wish for.....

Oh, and by the way, akdiver, I have a friend here who is actually looking for a young, single, hot Ukrainian. Before you go reporting "mistakes" have her drop by here. He may be able to change the status of her visa!

Oh man, I couldn't be responsible for condemning anyone to a life in Ohio. Sorry. ):

Besides - my wife and her friend are already cooking up ways to hook her up with someone around here (:

Cheers!

No biggy, there are only 46,000 more on the Internet! (I keep telling him all he has to do is check....) He likes life in Ohio, so I don't know, maybe he'll be able to find one to dupe into coming here.

You know, I read some thing on the Internet just the other day that ranked cities world-wide in terms of livability. The highest-ranked city in the U.S. was pretty far down the list (no higher than 25th place), but it was, of all places, Cleavland, Ohio. Maybe he can find that poll and use it to show that Ohio is the best part of the U.S. (:

Cheers!
