I come here in US through K1 and recently approved Adjustment of Status. Can I bring my 2 children ages 8 and 6 here in USA.

How soon can I bring them and what are the steps...Please help me?

When was your K-1 visa issued? If it's within 1 year still, they can use follow to join to get K-2 visas from that.

 

Otherwise, your USC spouse should submit I-130s for each stepchild. ETA: ~12-14 months. http://www.visajourney.com/content/childpet

You can petition for them yourself as an LPR, but the wait is going to be over 2 years.

Does my husband need to file AOS as well? or just the I-130 Petition?

I just want to be ready for expenses.

If he files an I-130 for each, then they will receive immigrant visas and therefore AOS will not be required. They will receive green cards shortly after entry into the US.

 

The total cost for petition, NVC fees, and green card fee (Immigrant Fee) is about $1200 per child. Each child also needs a medical.
