Ok--

I called USCIS, and was transferred to tier 2 officers for guidance (By the way, I think they had to make this all up since they kept saying this situation is new and the guidance is new too):

1) Make a copy recall notice letter

2) Write a letter explaining why you will be late in explaining you're returning the green card late

3) Include a copy of the flight itinerary which indicates the return date of your spouse

Send all of this to the address in the recall notice (the one we're supposed to return the green card to). For good measure, Im gonna send all the same stuff to the email address in the letter as well.

I hope this helps!

Yes that's my understanding. Better for her to keep it and have a copy of the letter (just send her a picture or PDF she can print out and have on hand at the airport) than for her to mail it to you. She may be waiting a very long time for the new, corrected green card!

2 months is inch Allah enough for USCIS to mail her the new Green Card.as was said before she can send u her current card ( DHL, UPS) tell her not to us Moroccan Post Service its worth it big time to pay like 100$ for such a very important document. worst case if she will have to leave the country before receiving new GC she can always contact US Embassy in Morocco and get a permit to enter the US with no problem what so ever.

Good Luck.

thank you destiny for your answer what is the process for that permit to enter the usa
