i am due to send out my aos package within the next couple of weeks and have my medical appointment at the end of this week.

the thing is i just found out i am pregnant. will this affect the medical in any way? will there be certain things i cant get done or will  i still be able to go ahead with the medical and send the paperwork away.

Yes. Anything not medically appropriate will be waived such as an MMR shot if you need that. However if you read the I693 page, you can wait on the medical and take it to your interview which will be more than 9 months from now.  See Special Instructions on this page https://www.uscis.gov/i-693

I have noticed a lot of people have been getting interview dates pretty quickly. What would happen if I sent the paperwork and got an interview date quicker than 9 months?

Like someone said what said they will waive anything that could jeopardize your pregnancy. Just tell your civil surgeon you are pregnant.

Your interview letter would say bring a form I-693 medical report, so you make an appointment and see the civil surgeon. This is what the exam consists of https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/technical-instructions-civil-surgeons.html

I can't think of anything harmful except the MMR because of the Rubella component. So they waive that shot and you never have to get it. There's a page all about vaccines.

For pregnant women, contraindications and precautions on CDC’s Pregnancy and Vaccination site.

Ok thank you! Sorry I didn’t read your last answer correctly that’s why I wasn’t kinda confused.

The purpose of the I-693 is to make sure you are not a threat to public safety or have health issues that could result in your being a public charge. Both can be determined even if you are pregnant. Advice about about MMR etc is good. Good luck!
