LOL. That reminds me. I have a picture of my best friend, Arlene, being kissed by Ron Joyce (Tim's co-founder) at the Martini House in Burlington (Ontario). We were having a girls night out and he came and sat down at our table. Arlene (whose brother used to play for Calgary, BTW Scott, lol) was giving Ron heck for her perception of how he treated Tim Horton's widow. (She's a bit feisty, is Arlene. You can tell she grew up with 4 brothers who all played hockey. One time she actually body-checked me out of the way of a quarter lying on the ground; and she's twice the size of me! LOL) But I digress. Ron was very nice and told her he made Mrs Horton a rich woman, so it wasn't all bad. Anyway, it seems Ron is very attracted to feisty women because he got up and gave her a big kiss. Then he did it again. Oh. I forgot. That was the same night the landscaping around the Martini House deck burst into flame. I guess the guys got a little heavy handed with the torchlight oil. All in all a very memorable evening.

Just wanted to update everyone on my idea of Tim's getting US penitration by serving their coffee with their cups at Wendy's. I got the standard response as jane did. I thought they'd ofer somwe SWAG b/c I said we were taking a special trip so my wife can get Tim's Memorial day weekend. I also metioned the cry for Tim's on VJ and what VJ is. Maybe they'll start reading our posts. I'm still partial to Wawa.
