Dear members on this forum an so hambled for your tireless effort to help us meet the American dream. I , my wife and child have been scheduled for an interview towords the end of this month.my wife has been working in the UAE for 3yrs..but she has been refused to get the police clearance of dubai. She came back and informed me that she has the ID but when they check in the system it shows details of the manager(P.R.O)..the wife is telling me that since where she has been working was office of president of UAE, things are different..its a process to change the ID reflecting her in the system for security reasons ...I am the principal applicant of the Dv lottery..

Qn..dear member do u think her not having the police clearance wont creat problems at the embassy?? Please advise..

Thanks so much

My wife has just told me that since where she has been in the UAE is a Royal family, the manager told her that they cant give her a police clearance for security reasons..what can i do? Do u think we can explain that at the American consolate and be accepted or will be a waste of money for both medical and visa fees??

For police clearances in our mother country are okay and we have got them but its only her without for UAE??

Humbly waiting for your advise ..

Thanks members

I don’t really understand exactly why your wife can’t get a police clearance but yes it could be a problem for her to get a visa. Can she get an official document from the uae explaining why they won’t issue her a clearance? It’s the only alternative I can think of that might work.

Man am in UAE since 83

And i know the system how it works

ANY ONE WHO IS IN UAE UNDER A VISA (EVEN 1 MONTH CHILD) MUST HAVE AN EMIRATES ID.

It's either she is illigal working or she has something in her police file

Don't get me wrong man, i read your threads and every single one of them has something wrong.

By the way has she moved back to your country now? Police certificates for uae can only be gotten from inside so in any case if she is not currently resident there anymore she won’t be able to get one now. Usually they will waive the requirement for this issue, but if it’s obvious your wife has only moved back for the DV interview I’m not sure how lenient they will be

Sadly this assessment makes more sense than changing her ID for security reasons

I can go and have lots of theories right now from these threads.

But what i know exactly:

He DIDN'T read the instructions before he applies (and seems he didn't do any search online) and he won and now he has many wrong issues with his application and he took the opportunity from some one who is more qualified.

I have to concur with this as well. She might have been working illegally and thus this is the reason why no PCC.

Well in this case when she left the UAE she paid a huge number of fine

Also i doubt a presidential palace would hire people illegally!!!

Sorry man but something is NOT right

On a second reading of this it sounds like she was using someone else’s ID number.

no police certificate = no visa

I doubt the security in the palace (yet for the president) will allow you to work in false ID and with no visa as well !!

Well, I didn’t want to get into where she actually may have been working, and it’s irrelevant for the issue at hand. The pertinent fact is that she can’t get a PCC.

Oh trust me I know. I still have my work visa stamped in my passport from Qatar when I lived/worked there. So I am well aware of a lot of these type of working issues for the GCC countries.
