Missed oath

Hi there has anyone here knows what happened if you missed your oath taking.

I got a letter from uscis saying they're gonna reschedule me for my next one that's when I know i hadn't make it on my oath. Then i was wondering if i should stiill send them a letter regarding my reasons. Please please if anyone knows how this go.

I know someone who did the same - they got confused and went to the wrong venue - and USCIS automatically rescheduled a new date which it sounds like they're already doing for you.  My friend spoke to a USCIS rep at the time who told them if they missed the second date they may be deemed to have abandoned their N-400 and have to re-apply again, but they made it to the second appointment so we don't know if the threat was real or not.

No need to do anything. Just wait for new oath letter.

Thank you so much very much appreciated. Now I feel a bit better hope the letter comes soon. Did it took a while for the second appointment?

It was a few years back so I can't remember the exact timeframe, but yes from memory they weren't re-scheduled for the next ceremony and had a reasonably long wait
