Is this the normal message when not selected?

So as we thought we didn't get selected for the diversity visa lottery.

But however I am wondering, is this the normal message you get when not selected or was there something wrong with my application?

Please verify that you have entered all information correctly. You may re-check the Entry status by clicking on the ESC Home Page link below."

Yep. Its normal. You have not been selected.

K1

29.11.2013 - NoA1

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

This message means you have not yet been selected.

 

BUT

 

No one until this moment on social media has reported or claimed to be a winner, so it is preferable to check after 24 hours so servers would have enough time loading all the results (they are REALLY slow)

I hope so, but i guess I wont win anyway since it says I wasn't selected right? Or has everyone received this message?

You have to understand that you are against a full contienet (with some rules of selection of course), what are the odds to that ?

 

People who apply for the 1st time and never been selected feels some anger.

 

This is my second time and i know i won't win even if i apply it for the next 20 years lol

Well my country generally has like 4% so I guess you meant to say I wont win and no point in checking later right?

I just need to know if I need to check it again now? Your first answer gave me some hope but then your second answer took it away LOL

Not at all

This is on the DV site : DV-2019 Entrants should keep their confirmation number until September 30, 2019.

 

No ones read, you have to keep checking because i think on 2014 they announced they will make another selection (i guess to the one who didn't qualify from the 55,000)

My brother applied for 10 straight years, he didn't get selected in any of them. I'm just telling you that, so you wouldn't have high hopes like I do every year lol. But it doesn't hurt to apply, you never know you might get lucky.

Yes, it’s the normal message and contrary to what another poster said, a more active DV forum has reported a few selectees. Case numbers look high already so chances of a second draw are very unlikely.
