At no point did all K1 petitions go through California.  There was a time half did.  There was also a time about 40% of adjustment of status from K1 cases went to California.

I’m sorry for a little off the topic but I’m confused about this part.

I believe what @John & Rose meant, For the past year all k1 petition I-129f is going to the California.

And what you meant is not all k1 adjustment petitions goes to California. Am I correct in understanding what you mean?

Not sure where you got that impression, but from Ecuador, it's unlikely she entered without inspection.

Unless you are a qualified, licensed, family based Immigration attorney ALREADY fully aware of ALL the person's circumstances, you have NO BUSINESS telling somebody they don't need a lawyer, AND to do so is a violation of the VJ terms of service.

I don't see telling someone they don't need a lawyer is a breach of the TOS - could you point it out? Here's the TOS in full;

Permitted Uses. You agree that you are responsible for any Content and communications that you Post and for any consequences thereof. You agree to use the Service (including but not limited to the discussion forums) only to send and receive messages, material, and in general Content that is in conformity with or permitted by law (legal), proper and if part of the discussion forums then also related to the particular subject matter. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using the Service, you will not:

last_post.png Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
last_post.png Post Content intended to degrade, intimidate, or incite violence or prejudicial action against a broad demographic or group of people identified by a unifying trait or characteristic (discrimination). For instance, racist or sexist content may be considered hate speech.

last_post.png Post any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret or other proprietary right of any party (the "Rights"), unless you are the owner of the Rights or have the permission of the owner to Post or transmit Content.
last_post.png Post any files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
last_post.png Post any mature or adult content including full nudity pornographic images, videos, Strategically covered nudity, Sheer or see-through clothing, Lewd or provocative poses, pornographic cartoons or anime (hentai/ecchi).
last_post.png Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose, other than in areas of the Service that are intended for such uses.
last_post.png Advertise or offer to sell any services or products on the Forums without the written permission of VisaJourney.

last_post.png Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Forums.
last_post.png Make comments in a Post either direct or implied toward another member that are purposely designed to upset, antagonize, make fun of, belittle, harass, insult, or otherwise instigate an argument that takes away from the personal enjoyment of the Service by other users.

I was just speaking of the last year and my experience where ALL K-1s with the exception of petitions in need of additional criminal background checks were sent to CSC.  Just the I-129f petitions.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Yeah I know that’s why I wondered what it meant. Still wondering what it meant means it meant...

got too complicated and gave up on the question. I’m taking it as k1 adjustments.

It’s not important anymore as the op is considering between adjustment or spousal right now (which I wish we also went for..cr1 rocks :) )

It isn't quite as friendly here so far.  Maybe I just need to get used to the different personalities.  We are very happy with our decision but it is early.  Looking at the possibility that they won't even make Christmas of 2019 is a little sad since today was the day we originally thought they would make POE.

NO LEGAL ADVICE OR ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP

Information contained on or made available through VisaJourney Websites and Services (including but not limited to the discussion forums) is not intended to and does not constitute legal advice, recommendations, mediation or counseling under any circumstance and no attorney-client relationship is formed. Do not act on or rely on any information from VisaJourney Websites and Services without consulting with a licensed attorney as this site is not a substitute for obtaining appropriate legal advice from a competent, independent legal counsel in the relevant jurisdiction.

I see the statement "don't need a lawyer" as the opinion of that person.   and just like with all advice on this site, the OP can take it or leave it.

I doubt theres little on this site that couldn't be construed as legal advice... And the best legal advice i would like to now give to all VJ participants, Dont get a lawyer unless you have serious hurdles to clear. Or if your not a native english speaker, I can see this would be a serious impediment to going this process alone.

There are quite a number of folks who cross over through a third country like Mexico from other parts of Latin America, at least locally. But it's important for my case that she entered with inspection.
