Hey guys!

Finishing up the NVC package and was wondering what they mean about the pay stubs having to be on "signed business letterhead". Does this simply mean it needs to be signed by someone at the workplace, and that the business name needs to be on top?

Also, is it fine to just give them a summary? Our joint sponsor gave us a Payroll summary from January 1, through March 19, 2018. Does it need to be newer? "Is issued within the last three months" is also one of the requirements.

I don't know how strict they are with this. Some input would be great! Thanks :)

i can only answer your first question. business letterhead is usually the company logo on top of whatever paper the company uses, almost always just regular A4. it's usually not simply the name of the company above the written letter, it looks fancier.

as for payroll summary, if it's for the I-134, my opinion is that it's best to stick with the documents listed on its instructions. otherwise, W2 or latest income tax return siould suffice.

my interview was in Singapore and the financial documents i surrendered were a letter from US Bank stating the past year's total deposit, bank account opening date and remaining sum in the account at the time and a letter from my fiance's company stating his position in the company, how much he earns and when he started out in the company. these were... the first two documents listed under supporting documents somewhere in I-134 instructions.

the officer saw that i had W2 and income tax return printed out and he asked me to hand those as well, though i can't be too sure whether those were for our case or for the I-134's supporting documents itself.
