Hm, well, I guess I'll wait and get to my tiny NY apartment before getting anything.... there is no way I'm going into some sort of college gym again though. No way. If I remember correctly, the point of the college gym is to show off your tush.

TO be honest when I was at the school you're headed to...it was mostly faculty and grad students. Having gone to a "show your tush" undergrad school and seen that gym I was reluctant...but this gym wasn't like that.

but it might be different now.

I joined Crunch on the upper west side. It was close, had good hours and was reasonably priced.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I own a Precor and I adore it.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Mm maybe I'll wait til I can buy a really nice one like that.

It's so frustrating because I definitely have enough room now. I can't imagine what it's going to be like to cram ourselves into a new tiny apartment. If we stay in NY we are definitely moving to Brooklyn...

not sure where you're going to school or what not...but you'll definitely get more room for your money in certain areas of queens and brooklyn. i would NOT buy one of those. its highly unlikely you'll have room for it unless you've got a trust fund you haven't told us about. lol ;) besides, they're majorly ugly.

also there's tons of ways to get exercise here in the city AND you can join a gym *cough nysc, ballys, or crunch! cough* i'm a member at nysc because i live about one block from it. can't get much closer! when are you coming anyway? i'll show you guys the cool brazilian markets here to stock up on stuff for your husband! lol
