EAD/AP Renewal 180 Days Before Expiry

My combo card is due to expire on 11/29/2018 and I am thinking of renewing my combo card by 1st week of June. As per the USCIS website, I need to submit the following:

- I765 form for EAD

- 2 passport photos

- NOA1 for AOS application

- front and back copy of my combo card

 

What else would I need to submit for my EAD renewal? Do I need to submit the same requirements for my AP renewal? Also, upon renewal, will I again be issued another combo card or just a letter indicating that it has been extended?

Submit a copy of everything for each form, so one for EAD and one for AP. Treat them as separate. So even pictures and things.

My combo EAD and Ap getting expires in 11/05/2018 my AOS file is still pending can anyone tell me when I need to submit my documents for renew and how much fees do I have submit

I think it is free as long as  you submit your NOA1 for your AOS. You may apply not more than 180 days before expiry. I plan to renew mine 1st week of June since my EAD's expiry date is 11/29/2018.

Do we still have to file for renewal of EAD even though on the USCIS website indicates that category, C9 is automatically extended up to 180days?

For EAD/AP Renewal, do you send the original I-797 for I765 or just the photocopy?

I would still renew my combo card because I want to be able to travel before I get my GC.

Hi,

 

I applied for a renewal ead/ap combo card late march as mine expires mid-sep.

I have received the black and white i-797c through the post for the i-765 + i-131 though what is current processing times on these should I have it before my current one expires?

Does the black and white i-797c docs extend my current card for 180 days? If so do I need to notify my employer or USCIS that my card has expired but I am continuing employment as I have these receipts?

At how many weeks prior to expiration should I contact my congressmen to help expedite the process as I am currently working and my card will expire. Does my employer need to write any type of letter to provide them?

Yes, you would file for renewal. The USCIS website states that if you are in one of the categories listed AND you filed a timely renewal, then you get the automatic extension. Thus, you must file for renewal.
