Canada k1 visa shipped canada post

Anyone that has gotten their K1 visa have any suggestions I am trying to decide what will be fastest to get the passport ship directly to my house ($20.00 extrea) or to pick it up form a canada post. 

 

I am in alberta so so anyone who has gone though the process I would appreciate your input.

Hi! I'm sorry I can't really answer your question. I have a question for you or maybe there are other Canadians who might be able to help. For your Canadian police certificate, did you get fingerprinted? Im in Montreal and I found a company that does PC, one service requires 2 government ids, the other is fingerprints... I'm not quite sure which one to get... Thoughts?

I have a dui so I had to get the finger prints. I believe if your a normal guy you can go to your local rcmp or police satiation and request a criminal record check and it’s only $25 usually the places that do the finger printing charge closer to $75. If I was you I would just got to the cop shop and have them do it. If you don’t have a record you’ll get your results fast if you do it still might only take 2-3 weeks.
