I have 2 questions.

1. Do I need to have a house to sponsor my spouse for the CR-1 visa? Is it fine if I'm renting an apartment or a room?

2. If my CR-1 visa is approved and my wife is allowed to go to the US, is it possible the immigration in Us can send her back?

1.  No, Yes

2.  If she fails to comply with requirements for residency, yes.

Your concerns are non-issues......

I need to make 20,575 a year. Do I just need to show I make this a year? Do I need to show that I have some sort of money in my bank account?

You do have to meet the 125% poverty guideline amount. Technically as long as you make that it's fine, you don't need to have any 'backup' savings or anything... even meeting the minimum it is at the discretion of the CO at the interview whether your spouse may be become a public charge... in what country does your spouse reside?

125% of the guideline is up to the CO at interview.  If they don't feel that the beneficiary won't become a public charge they could ask for a joint sponsor.  The poverty guideline is raised every year.  It's better to be comfortably above than just barely there.
