Filing for K-1 this week, and gathering relationship evidence

Hey guys, I'm new here. My friend had suggested VJ to me after she went through the K-1 process last year and said this forum helped her a lot.


Anyway, me and my fiance are filing for the K-1 visa this week, and from what I understand, we'll be sending the relationship evidence along with this. Is this correct? Also, what are points to remember and things I should remember to include?

Thank you! Just something I've been seeing a lot is that all papers in the packet have to be signed by both parties. Is this correct? How will it work if my fiance is in the US and I'm abroad?

What do you mean by all papers need to be signed by both parties? The entire form? If so, that's not true. I believe the letters of intent to marry need both parties' signatures. The petition form itself needs to be signed by the petitioner somewhere towards the end of the package.

Relationship evidence is for the Embassy not the petition.  Proof of meeting within the last two years is for the petition
