Green Card Legal Name Change while abroad

Dear forum members,

 

I am a German citizen and have legally changed my name while in Germany. As I will still be here in Germany for a longer while before going back to the US, I wanted to know where I would have to file I-90 (renewal of green card). Will the USCIS office in the consulate in Frankfurt help me? Or do I mail it all to the US?

I think you can only renew GC in the USA, but you can contact USCIS office in  Frankfurt for more informations.

USCIS foreign field offices do NOT accept or process I-90's

My question would then be: how do I fly to the USA with a green card that doesn't match my passport name?
