Morgan, please let me share my experience to you.I married to the U.S citizen to obtained my green card.My wife filed for me and my two(2)children and I got  approved but not my children, and after I passed my interview immigration gave me two(2)years still my children was not approved until the time I got my ten years before they approved my children and that time my children petition was pending for three(3)years and guess immigration separated my 2 children because younger child was 15 years at the time I got my 10 years and the older child was 19 years they all approved but immigration did processed the younger child first and 19 years child petition was still pending until I became a u.s citizen. At that time 19 years child was 21 years The younger child came here 2years before the older child was here but older child, his case was very very fast less than a year.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you also share me the types of question you were asked and the documents and evidence you provided?.

The questions depends on the C.O you are going to meet at your interview  day but I can give you some examples of the evidence you are going to need.Photos, utilities bills, letters that your address on it for both or individual names on it that's address you used to filed your petition, bank statement both of you or individual name on it or rent lease both of you or individual name on it and finally insurance either auto or health or life insurance.

Ok,make sure you focus your interview than your children petition because you have to be a LPR before your children petition will work for them.

If your children are your wife biological children than she can file for them without any problems but if they are not biological mother, please focus on your interview and make sure you pass the interview. May the Lord open the way for you. Good luck.

Ok,Morgan this is not adjustment of status is the immigrants interview for green card.I will specific to you the fact, you are schedule for interview for your green card based on marriage, right? If that, the C.O is going to asking you the proves of your marriage, than you have to proves yourself to the C.O that because of these evidence she's my wife.I am already show the type of evidence they always looking for not marriage certificate alone. You live together or not?

We do not live together. She came to visit me once and that was when we got married. I think your case differs from mine.
