Hi Mike445! how did you get your NVC case number? I got my NOA 2 mid March but USCIS sent it to NVC on April 10, 2018. Did you receive it by email or did you call NVC? Thanks!

I received it via email. My wife also received it via email.

When NVC receive your case?

I’m not sure when they received it but today I received my NVC case number and receipt number via email. It pretty much took one month to get my NVC case number   From the time of my NOA2.

That was fast. Congratulations! Maybe your case was sent to NVC right away. Our case took a while to leave USCIS. Still waiting for the case number.

Finally after 11 months of tiring wait got an approval in the mail. Noa 1 - 29/5   NoA 2 - 1/5.Nebraska service center. Thanks to God almighty .

Congratulations to you Richa Stevin but you have not been active on here. You're guilty of coming on here to see what's going on and not contributing 🤗.. But it's okay. We forgive you and we are happy that there is progress. Now you are on to the next stage of the process. Endeavor to carry us along as you go on.

I got my NOA 2 in early April. My priority date was May/18/2018. Today I got my NVC case number! Woo!

Mike

This is an amazing news, Mike445. I am so excited your progress and the progress made so far. Thank you for also carrying us along with the next process. So what's the next thing for you, now that you got your NVC number? And how long did it take to get your NVC number, from the date NVC confirmed the receipt of your file from USCIS?

Thank you!  I have no idea when they received it all I know is that we got the email this morning with the NVC case number. Pretty awesome. The next step is to pay the fees and get the affidavit of support ready. Lately I’ve been hearing from one member on here that you need six months worth of pay stubs with no gaps.  Our cosponsor is just starting back to work now. From the looks of it we’ll have to wait 6 months to file those documents.  It’s funny because if we submit three years worth of tax returns all three years are over $100,000 each year.  But one member has told me that that does not matter and that six months of current paystub‘s are still required. The first thing we are going to do is sort out that information and go from

there.

Is a lie. My husband started work a day they told us to submit proof of current employment, I submitted only letter of employment. If your tax transcript is ok then you are good, submit the one you have.

I was commenting on here under German Shepherd I got locked outta my account so I will comment under this new profile.  Update on my case got my nvc case number we paid the fees sent everything in and  the Montreal consulate quick came back we need a joint sponser talke 60 to 90 days to hear back from them on a interview date . Wifes last year imcome tax was above 40k and the Current income is way above last years . We sent in 6 months of pay stubs employment verification letter etc she has been on this job along time . So I paid a bunch of money today to find out from a lawyer what happened . And we contacted the nvc about this last week . Few reason last 6 months of pay stubs there was a gap because she took un paid time off . Wasn't wall to wall solid paystubs for the last 6 months and I guess the nvc has got really sticky and been asking for joint sponsers from ppl that are above the poverty line . Lucky I found this out now because according to the lawyer that has clients this has happened to they dont tell u . U need a joint sponser tell the interview. We have a joint sponser and he is pretty solid . I would definitely have a joint sponser on hand and have 6 months worth of pay stubs that show no time off . Remember your approved petition can sit at the nvc for UP to a year have your stuff in order it will save alot of time and frustration .

Can anyone in Canada or and admins verify that this is false or bad information? I’m SO confused...it seems like this member has been shut out of his accounts. Need some help here. Thank you.
