Yes my timeline prediction changed from Dec 10-Jan 9 to Dec 10 to Dec 28 right before I got the approval. I've noticed a few people getting approvals 10-12 days before the first prediction date.

Hi Everyone

My first time posting, we got approved, my husband received it through the mail on Tuesday. The case tracker app did not update, still said case was received until today, it changed and now says - case was sent to the department of state.

Hey guys,

 

So, can anyone shed some light on what happens now? I read above that once approved case goes to NVC/Dept of State....where can we check the status of that? Do I call NVC? My approval letter is in today's mail. I've read that a Case number is assigned once NVC receives case? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

From what I've read and what others have said here, once NVC receives your case, it takes 6-8 weeks to get a case number. Many people suggest calling the NVC frequently, about 2 weeks after they've received your case to see if they can give you the case number.

My emotions are getting played with today lol . I received a notification from USCIS case tracker my status has been changed  when I looked it still said “ case was received “ 213 days lol

 

I hope everyone is well

its a new month !!!

i hope to see many approvals including mine!

This happened to me two days before we got approved. Could be a good sign that your case is actually being worked on and you will hear something soon
