Can i pay for I-129f by Western Union or MoneyGram

Hello, I am the petitioner, I currently live in Ukraine. 

I sent my I-129f package with a homemade check (with my routing and account number, by my bank's advice)

its has been 30 days, I haven't received NOA1, package did arrive the texas center. 

 

I need to include a different form of payment. 

my question is , can i use Western Union or MoneyGram?

09.2015 - Green Card received.

It mentions very clearly on the instructions package on the USCIS website that only money order from a US financial institution or a personal check from a US bank can be used. You cannot use foreign banks or moneygram. You will most likely get a rejection letter because your funds were incorrect. I would wait for that and then file again using the correct funds. It’s always a good idea to read the instructions carefully before filing so you don’t make mistakes that delay your case.

Wrong.  Of course you can use Western Union or Moneygram.  These are US money services companies who draft on a US bank.

You can get a MONEY ORDER from western union(IN the US) and send it in. But you can not send in a direct wire transfer via western union.

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/4/20     Mailed packet

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

10/14/21 Mailed to AZ PO Box. Let the waiting begin. Again.

10/19/21 Received Text NOA1

do you use informed delivery....that way you could keep track if they send the package back to your US-address?

10/17/2018                After 136 days of wait in HELL, finally EAD in production

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

I used a western union money order for my I-129F and had no issues.

we used electronic payment, with the form G-1450  u fill the form with ur credit or debit card information with the correct fee etc etc and signed it.. u can download the form: at USCIS web page.
