Hi Community,

200 days already passed after we got NOA1 (24OCT17) and till now we didn't hear anything back.
Is this normal? What are they researching or whats wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Which center is your case located at? And what category?

200 days for K-1s is becoming more and more common here.  The Visa Journey average appears to be about 189 days.  Since every case is different, some cases will always take longer........patience, patience, patience...

I see that but people from November and December getting approvals before all October fillers are done...why is that possible? What is the logic of process?

It's the government, Logic is completely out of the process here. I'm a December filer, and hope we can get the Visa by November, that would be 11 months, and I would throw a party.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

It is possible because each case is different, and person examining the cases is different.  There are many variables which come into play.  I know it is very frustrating......

Yes. It’s normal it’s still a lot of people 200 + waiting. You should join the group for October K1 fillers. You will get some answers faster and get to talk to people that it’s still waiting 😉

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

There are also people from July, August, September, and early October waiting. If they had to approve every single case for a month before passing to the next one we would still be in July. Every case is different, background checks, different adjudicators. It's really up to luck, there's no logic.

I am Oct 3rd CR1 and 2 people from February 2018 have been approved.

The USCIS emailed me:

"We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. " In the order received??? My question:

is it possible that the Officers who are Humans with Political views, feelings, gender, nationality affiliations etc....could approve some applications before others???

Honestly, I am trying my hardest to come up with an explanation. True every case is different, but 3 and 5 months difference between Application A and Application B s approvals is a bit extensive.

I understand the frustration of seeing other monthly filers being approved and you haven't yet. It really depends on who's desk your laying or how fast the officer works. Your case might be different from other.

Keep reminding yourself to never compare cases. Each is different.

It took us 475 days to get NOA2 approved. It’s been more than a month now and the case is not yet sent to NVC. We have been waiting a long time. It’s very difficult.

Can you think of a reason why?
