My wife had her AOS interview 3 months ago. We were told we'd be approved, but they lost her fiance visa packet in Guam when she entered the country.

Since then no updates just under review and calling uscis does nothing. They just say we're within normal processing times. She's been in the United States almost a year! If they haven't gotten the packet I'm not sure how they'd magically find it now. Would it be worth it to do an infopass appointment? It's over 6 hours travel each way for us, but this wait is ridiculous. 3 months since the interview she should have her green card already. The senator said if we wait 60 more days then they can do something, that would be 5 months after the interview!!! What do you think we should do?

ombudsman. (I believe they are backed up right now due to so many people asking for their help but its worth a try.)

Infopass isnt going to help you. Its probably a 20% chance they can help and for that long of a drive its not worth it. Surprised the senator wants you to wait longer before they help. Maybe they are backed up right now too. Try the other senator or your congressperson.
