I-693 OPENED

So here it goes... we applied for AOS (I-485,I-131,I-864,I-693,I-765) on Oct.2017. Got NOA's and BIO APPT. and we attended so got proof of attendance. 3 weeks later we recieved a NOR letter & AOS packet ( notice of rejection) due to check came back. Long story short we didnt have the money. Now(May.2018) we have everything updated and most important the money. Now our only issue is the I-693 opened and edition10/19/17 which on edition states(  Starting Jan. 2, 2018, civil surgeons must use the 10/19/17 edition of Form I-693. USCIS will not accept the 02/07/17 version (or any previous editions) that a civil surgeon signed and dated on or after Jan. 2, 2018. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions.) we have two questions:

1. we came in with K-1 visa and we got a medical exam in 6/2017. Do we have to file I-693 anyway?

or

2. Do we file the opened I-693 expired edition because surgeon signed it before 1/2018? or just go back and have them re do an I-693?

 

Please help. I would really appreciate it. alot
