Hi, I recently submitted I-751 package to California center like 3 weeks ago and service center is very slow, no checks cashed or receipt numbers sent out any applications who applied from APR 11 th,

My 2 yrs green card expiring in 4 days, and not received NOA1 or no check cashed by California Service Center. On my SSN i have "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION". is it okay to work since nothing get back about I-751 application and is it matter what i have on SSN for the current situation?

I was in the same situation but my GC expires next month, went to the SS office this week and no problem at all to get an unrestricted card.

Didn't think about it until now so give it a try, the worst that can happen is they say no which would leave you the same as now.

Good Look and report back.
