I was looking at the AOS stats timeline and it looks like it can take 200+ days to have an interview in Orlando, Fl. I wondered if anyone has been there and could tell me their experience. We'd appreciate it.

Our interview was in the morning. We made sure we came early enough to be let in.30 minutes before our scheduled appointed time. We went through the list of papers to bring along, about 2 times to really make sure everything was in order and available if ever the Interview Officer ask for them. We brought both the Original papers as well as machine copies. Every single one of them. They are listed in the Notice for Interview.

When our time came to be interviewed which was almost on time give or take just 15-30 minutes from appointed time. The Ofiicer was very courteous, professional , and thorough.

He asked how we met, how long we dated and seen each other before we got married, and he looked at those pictures of us in the different stages of our courtship to the present day of us being together.

He asked me things about my husband which I should know like , what town he comes from. He would also ask my husband questions like how he got his citizenship, and asked us to show previous marriage divorce papers and tax papers, etc. Proof that we are living together like credit card, insurance etc that were both in our names and same address, really helped a lot.

There really is nothing to fear about because it will be quick, it is more the anticipation and the wait till interview day arrives that is nerve wrecking. But dont worry once its over and you get the Stamp on your passport ... the joy in your heart is a beautiful experience also. Just tell the truth and speak from your heart. Good luck to you and I hope and pray to God that you'll have the same successful outcome in your interview. Dont forget to pray.
