787 Dreamliner is the replacement, but I wasn't impressed with the one we flew on in 2015

I really enjoyed flying on the 747.  For one, it is an older plane and the seats were not as small as the current long flight planes!  I guess we will have to get used to the 777.

Ya the triple 7s are good.  I actually like them better than the 787.

I enjoyed my ride on the A380 over the 777.  I am looking forward to my first on the A350

I have two trips booked now (May and June) and both are triple 7s (Cathay Pacific and United)

I leave Friday out of SFO on Cathay as well, come back on Memorial day

I come back a day before you so I can use Memorial Day as a transition day.  The jet lag  coming back gets to me.  I have no problem going there but coming back takes a lot out of me.  I leave Chicago on the 21st of May and again on the 8th of June.  The June trip is United Polaris Business Class on a buddy pass.  Even that is pricy but it costs about what an economy class ticket costs for the full RT.

I actually leave on the 27th in the evening and arrive in SFO a little more than an hour after I left...

I leave Manila at 8:25 AM on the 27th going to Hong Kong.  I get to Chicago just 2 hours after I leave Hong Kong!  11:55 to 13:55.

Seems to be the predominate choice.  This is what my SO sells out of the house.  Stellar business this past weekend and yesterday with the liquor ban due to the election
